This is a first visit: Bahnhof Siemensstadt.
It was a last minute visit before we went to Berlin Schönefeld Airport. Had no camera with me, only my smartphone (anyone some recommendations about an Androidphone with an awesome camera?) and ofcourse not that many time to take pictures
The + & - are:
+ The platform is easy to enter
- Nearby an elementary school (but they where on a holiday) and another huge Siemens office/complex.
Be smart: visit this station and/or track during the weekend!

Welp, as it presently stands my neuropathy may never completely dissipate back to the baseline. Alas, I wasn't expecting this answer. Not the end of the 🌎🌍 but kind of disappointing. As that answer is not yet cut in stone, we're going to counteract it with every possible option.....
Will begin researching physical therapists and continue my daily stretching exercises and will also begin taking short daily walks around my neighborhood
This Friday, December 12th I have a consultation with Access-A-Ride, so that's another option. Typically, I prefer to have several irons in the fire at once.

Historic Long Island City institution Brooks 1890 ceases operations after 135 years
licpost - Jan. 17, 2025 By Shane O’Brien
Brooks 1890, a historic bar and restaurant that served as a cornerstone of Long Island City’s Court Square for over a century, has permanently closed its doors.
The iconic establishment at 24-28 Jackson Ave. across from the Long Island City Courthouse shuttered last week after operating for 135 years.
The closure of Brooks 1890 marks the end of an era for a business that began in 1890 as a private social club. Around 1910, it was converted into a restaurant and underwent several name changes over the decades, including Kleefeld Hall, Kleefeld’s Saloon, and Court Square Restaurant. In the early 1970s, Bill “Brooks” Gounaris purchased the establishment and gave it its current name.

Founded in 1972 by Paisios of Tyana. The monastery is located in the heart of Astoria in New York and named in honor of Saint Irene.
In its original form, the monastery consisted of roughly forty square feet of space in a basement of a house located where the holy shrine of St. Irene sits today. Today, the monastery itself is located in a 3-floor complex on Ditmars Blvd, the shrine of St. Irene on 23rd avenue is over forty feet high and the monastery’s main offices are located across the street from the shrine.
Architecture:
St. Irene of Chrysovalantou is a large modern church which has been transformed into an Orthodox sanctuary. The exterior has had some Byzantine style motifs added, and the interior is a beautiful mixture of classical architecture and intricate icons.
