I thought of this one yesterday. I can imagine a sort of resignation in it, as though the weight of being the Dark Spud of the Sith is a burden too heavy to bear.
Theme: Inanimate Emotion
My goal in this portion of my project is to have inanimate objects convey an emotion. I think family portraits would be cool if they included creative images of a family's favorite toys/possessions. Resignation is the word for this one.
Project: 365 Project
My goal is to shoot a picture each day for a whole year. I felt that my efforts were starting to get aimless, so I decided to start using a more analytical approach to improve my craft.
Challenges:
Apparently, I don't push myself hard enough. I am really liking the work of Delgax on Flickr (bit.ly/10rTT8w). I really want to improve my lighting. I like my composition, but lighting will take it to the next level.
Disappointments:
I accomplished everything I sought to accomplish, which should be good, but part of me feels like that means either I am not discerning enough or I am not pushing hard enough.
Successes:
The composition has impact. The mrs really liked this one in comparison with the others. The distance between Darth Tater and his mask as well as his slouched posture really conveys emotion. You know the mask doesn't belong there. Why isn't it on his face? Why is he so sad? You want that mask to be on his face.
