This is a hybrid headphone amp I built with op-amp & electron tube. (unique!)
Most of the parts are bought from mouser.com and digikey.com.
Electron Tube: JAN 6922 Sylvania (made in 1972)
Op-amp: TI OPA2134P
Capacitors: Nichicon Muse KZ 1000uF 25V
Resistors: Dale
Case: Hammond Steel Instrument (1454 Series)
I usually connect iPod touch with this amp, and listen to music. It creates much better sounds than iPod touch without the amp. Thanks to the circuit designer on www.fa-schmidt.de/YAHA .

Brook audio amplifier, 1950s "HiFi" design. Brook's all-triode amplifiers, such as this one with 2A3s, are legendary. Working examples are sought-after highly by some audio enthusiasts.

Newly acquired a 1980 Technics Integrated DC Amplifier with a unique "New Class A" with Synchro Bias and Straight DC (Direct Coupling) circuitry designs provide 0.005% THD at 20-20kHz. Independent power supplies that output 105 watts per channel (8Ω).
iPhone3G/3GS専用のポータブルアンプGo-dap GD-03。
古いiPhone3GS(16GB)をミュージック専用機にしようと思うも、
The little beauty was used by pioneering quantum neurologists in the late 1800 to boost their brain power enough to move objects with their minds. It was a promising potential leap in science but the project was abandoned when a large anvil from an neighboring blacksmith shop accidentally crushed the professor as he was trying to move a pot belly stove.
Guitar amplifier built for me by my brother, based on the Firefly circuit.

A true power-receiver designed by Luxman. Excellent sounding and sensitive tuner section. Fine phono amplification for two turntables
65 watt per channel

Ein leistungsstarker Receiver im typischen Luxman Design. Sehr empfindlicher Empfangsteil und zwei hervorragend klingende Phonoeingänge.

My Marshall amp, well built, sturdy and robust, good sound whilst it worked but amplifier ceased working and it has sat in my loft for 2 years so have placed it on Freecycle with hope someone can either repair it or use cabinet or speaker. I will miss it but as I was a rubbish player hopefully someone else will enjoy it
My cute little headphone amplifier. Two OPA134 op-amps, a split rail mains PSU, laser engraved perspex panels in a Hammond extruded aluminium enclosure.
The "New Class A" really caught my attention (even it was developed 35 years ago), it is different to the original Class A amp design but combines Class AB's energy efficiency yet provide the low signal distortion and power handling like Class A amps.
"New Class A - a Technics development combines clean, class A amplifier design output with the high output power capabilities of class B design. You don't have to trade efficiency and price for sound quality or distortion for high output." (from Technics sales brochure)
Reading this today still makes me feeling excited. Be remember, only TOTL amps provide 100+ wpc output power at that era.
JVC's Super A, Pioneer and Kenwood's Non-Switching bias module are different methods to enhance low-distortion on their high-end audio amps, the Technics' "New Class A" series may sound and looks (illuminated badge) more attractive.
