The church was dedicated to LOGOS, the second person of the Holy Trinity, which as you can imagine took place on the 25 December. Later it was converted to a mosque. Now it serves as a museum (Wiki)

Today was another awesome day. First off we went in to the Colloseum, using our Roma Pass to skip the lines (It was even faster than the guided tour groups line!), then we met back up with Karrie-Ann, Sophie and Jo and wandered over to Castel St Angelo, before eventually meandering home.
Once it was almost dark, Mark and I then headed back to the Colloseum to shoot it all lit up at night.

#Scanning #35mmfilm has had me reliving my travels in 1995. #Trabzon is a city on the Black Sea of northeastern Turkey and is part of the #silkroad. Hagia Sophia was built in circa 1250s. It is characterised by a high central #dome and four large column arches.
