At the back of Cecilienhof Palace is a palace in Potsdam, Brandenburg, Germany. It was built from 1914 to 1917 in the layout of an English Tudor manor house. It is famous for having been the location of the Potsdam Conference in 1945, in which the leaders of the Soviet Union, the United Kingdom and the United States made important decisions affecting the shape of post World War II Europe and Asia. Cecilienhof has been part of the Palaces and Parks of Potsdam and Berlin UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1990.

Located at Wat Huay Plakang 9 Tier Temple, Chiang Rai, Thailand. Guanyin or Guan Yin (more at § Names in other Asian languages, below) is an East Asian bodhisattva associated with compassion as venerated by Mahayana Buddhists. She is commonly known as the "Goddess of Mercy" in English. The Chinese name Guanyin is short for Guanshiyin, meaning "[The One Who] Perceives the Sounds of the World". She is also referred to as Guanyin Bodhisattva (traditional Chinese: 觀世音菩薩; simplified Chinese: 观世音菩萨; pinyin: Guān shì Yīn Pú Sà) In Thai, she is called Kuan Im (Thai: กวนอิม), Phra Mae Kuan Im (Thai: พระแม่กวนอิม), or Chao Mae Kuan Im (Thai: เจ้าแม่กวนอิม).
Sanssouci is the summer palace of Frederick the Great, King of Prussia, in Potsdam, near Berlin. It is often counted among the German rivals of Versailles. While Sanssouci is in the more intimate Rococo style and is far smaller than its French Baroque counterpart, it too is notable for the numerous temples and follies in the park. The 40-meter-high original mill was built in 1788, burnt down in 1945 during the final clashes of WWII and was rebuilt in 1993. The mill near the royal residence became famous through a legend that its clattering disturbed Frederick the Great. When the king threatened to confiscate the property using eminent domain, the miller was referred to the Kammergericht, or Supreme Court, in Berlin. The German name for this type of mill, Galerieholländer ("Dutch gallery mill"), refers to the circular gallery on the fourth story of the mill. The mill thus has enormous dimensions
Thermal Baths
The Terme di Catullo uses the water which bubbles out of Lake Garda near the northern shoreline of the Sirmione peninsula. Metal pipes which supplied the Grotto of Catullo have been discovered in the Roman ruins (in fact, one theory says that it may actually have been a bathhouse and not a villa). The water - mineral-rich and at a temperature of 70°C when it leaves the rock - is used for health treatments in the two thermal baths and spas which exist on the peninsula. The principal one is located on the lakefront northwards from the ferry landing jetty.

Nijō Castle (二条城, Nijō-jō) is a flatland castle in Kyoto, Japan. The castle consists of two concentric rings (Kuruwa) of fortifications, the Ninomaru Palace, the ruins of the Honmaru Palace, various support buildings and several gardens.

This colorful bird is one of the nicest to watch in the wild, how fly in pairs, how they eat, are things that are cool to see in real life. The Osa Peninsula in Costa Rica has the biggest population of this bird in all Central America.

The Victory Column is a monument in Berlin, Germany. Designed by Heinrich Strack, after 1864 to commemorate the Prussian victory in the Danish-Prussian War, by the time it was inaugurated on 2 September 1873, Prussia had also defeated Austria and its German allies in the Austro-Prussian War (1866) and France in the Franco-Prussian War (1870 to
71), giving the statue a new purpose.

Penang International Airport located 16 km (9.9 mi) south of George Town, the capital city of Penang offers frequent flights to several major Asian cities, including Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh City, Hong Kong and Taipei. It is one of Malaysia's busiest, while the Port of Penang is the major harbour within northern Malaysia. Again this image was captured from the plane in the air.
In the late 1800s Bled Island and village, located in the middle of glacial Lake Bled, were seen as a health resort by aristocrats from around the world. Today the island and the Assumption of Mary Pilgrimage Church are known to be major tourist attractions. Bled Castle is an iconic landmark because of its location teetering on a cliff overlooking the lake.
The Assumption of Mary Pilgrimage Church was built in the 15th century and is known by visitors because of the 99 steps that lead up to the church. Traditionally, local grooms carry their brides up these steps while the bride remains perfectly silent, in order to bring them happiness in the future. The church also has bells that visitors ring for good luck. Tourists can hire boats to get to the church.
The Marie-Elisabeth-Lüders-Haus (MELH) is located in the government district of Berlin between Adele-Schreiber-Krieger-Straße and Schiffbauerdamm . It was inaugurated after five years of construction on 10 December 2003 as the third new parliament building on the Spree . The architect was Stephan Braunfels .
