A Caterpillar - this image was captured using an old Nikon D70 with a Sigma 18-125mm DX lenses.
The Nikon D70 has been considered superior to its predecessor, the D100, despite the higher price of the latter. The D70 is backward compatible with most of the older Nikkor lenses. Sigma, Tokina and Tamron are other popular lens suppliers of Nikon F-mount lenses. Although this camera is sitting most of the time at home and collecting dust, yet it has captured a lot of wonderful images for me.
The Marie-Elisabeth-Lüders-Haus (MELH) is located in the government district of Berlin between Adele-Schreiber-Krieger-Straße and Schiffbauerdamm . It was inaugurated after five years of construction on 10 December 2003 as the third new parliament building on the Spree . The architect was Stephan Braunfels .
It was a floating facility right at the ferry pier to Namiseom, Korea. I found its interesting reflection on the calm water.
Lake Tanuki (田貫湖, Tanuki-ko) is a lake near Mount Fuji, Japan. It is located in the city of Fujinomiya, Shizuoka Prefecture, and is part of the Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park. Originally a swampy area, the lake was created in 1935 by diverting the waters of nearby Shiba River to create a reservoir for use in irrigation. The lake is now a popular vacation location, with camp sites, fishing, boating and is noted for its views of Mount Fuji.

At Nakajima Park (中島公園) Sapporo, Japan, I found a few Jap school girls carried a huge reflector with stand. They posed in front of the reflector and let local photographers to take portrait of her. I shot this one from distance.
“南禪寺”是京都名剎之一,為臨濟宗南禪寺派的大本山,正式名稱為“瑞龍山 太平興國南禪禪寺”。現在仍可從巍峨聳立的三門樓上俯瞰京都。南禪寺因與德川幕關係密切得以重建和興隆,從樓上可以望見御所的結構,似乎蘊涵著某種意圖。
("Nanzen-ji Temple" is one of the famous temples in Kyoto. It is the head temple of the Nanzen-ji School of the Rinzai sect. Its official name is "Zuiryuzan Taipingxingguo Nanzen-zen Temple". You can still overlook Kyoto from the towering Sanmon Tower. Nanzen-ji Temple was rebuilt and prospered due to its close relationship with the Tokugawa shogunate. The structure of the Imperial Palace can be seen from the upper floor, which seems to imply some kind of intention.)

Last time when I was at City Temple of Shanghai, I saw the lotus bloomed in such a beautiful colour and shape that I've never seen before in the pond that was in quite distance. I shot this image using my powerful zoom lens pushing to max. When I got home, I noticed that it was a deceit that I didn't notice on site. Perhaps I need to correct my cataract ASAP.
