As the victory of the Venice Republic against the Patriarch of Aquileia, Ulrico di Treven in the year 1162. In the honour of this victory, the people started to dance and gather in San Marco Square. Apparently, the Veneiian mask started on that period and became official in the Renaissance. In the seventeenth century, the baroque carnival was a way to save the prestigious image of Venice in the world. It was very famous during the eighteenth century. It encouraged licence and pleasure, but it was also used to protect Venetians from present and future anguish.

This footpath Namiseom was having white balloons hanging along that gave walkers an everlasting depth illusion.

Limni, on the island of Evia, is a small port, beach and tourist resort, which is beautiful the whole year round. It is located 80 km NW of Chalkida and about 150 km from Athens.
The island of Evia lies along the Eastern coast of Central Greece, and is accessible to the mainland via two bridges, an old wooden bridge and a contemporary suspension bridge. There are also frequent ferries to several parts of the island. It is 175 km long and is the second largest island in Greece, and the third largest in the Eastern Mediterranean.

Back in 2016 while visiting Tibet, I captured this image in a cold and high attitude late evening. Hardly found any people as we were in a coach heading to hotel for dinner.

In this power you can see the castle walls of Castelvecchio, As you know most of the well known attractions are usually packed with visitors and tourist from all over the world. It's hard to get shot with no humans that I just find to minimum.
This pink rose is beautiful but couldn't last long on the stem/branch outside. We usually cut and put in inside home. This green leaves is not rose's but just cut it from the ground cover of lthe flowering bed.
This imaged was captured using a Nikon D70 with a Sigma 18-125mm lenses and a macro filter attachment.
The Pennsylvania State Capitol is the seat of government for the U.S. state of Pennsylvania located in downtown Harrisburg which was designed by architect Joseph Miller Huston in 1902 and completed in 1906 in a Beaux-Arts style with decorative Renaissance themes throughout. The capitol houses the legislative chambers for the Pennsylvania General Assembly, made up of the House of Representatives and the Senate, and the Harrisburg chambers for the Supreme and Superior Courts of Pennsylvania, as well as the offices of the Governor and the Lieutenant Governor. It is also the main building of the Pennsylvania State Capitol Complex.
Franciscan Church and Monastery, Dubrovnik Croatia was the earliest monastery was built in the 13th century outside the walls. A new monastery inside the walls and close to the Pile Gate, was built in 1317, but its construction took centuries. Parts of the complex were rebuilt several times.
Ohrid is a town in southwestern Macedonia on the shore of Lake Ohrid. A town of vast history and heritage, it was made a UNESCO heritage site in 1980 and referred to as a "Jerusalem (of the Balkans). Ohrid is one of only 28 sites that are part of UNESCO's World Heritage that are Cultural as well as Natural sites.

Hassan II Mosque is the largest mosque in Morocco and the only mosque built on the sea in the world.
The Hassan II Mosque is one of the few mosques open to non-Muslims. When you come to Casablanca, you must visit this place! There are 12-point star-shaped fountains on both sides of the forecourt of the Hassan II Mosque, closely matching the six-pointed star pattern on the paved surface and the six-pointed star pattern in the middle.

San Giovanni Grisostomo (English: Saint John Chrysostom) is a small church in the sestiere or neighborhood of Cannaregio, Venice.
The church was founded in 1080, destroyed by fire in 1475, then rebuilt starting in 1497 by Mauro Codussi and his son, Domenico. Construction was completed in 1525. The bell tower dates from the late 16th century. The interior is based on a Greek cross design.

Zuibaichi, literally: "Drunken Bai Pond") is a Chinese garden in Shanghai's suburban Songjiang District that dates back to the Song Dynasty. It occupies an area of 5 hectares and is one of the five ancient Chinese gardens in Shanghai. The garden's name lies in the famous Chinese poet Li Bai. It is said that if Li Bai was brought back to life and had a sightseeing here, he would certainly lingered on and forgot to return, just about drunk. Actually famous men of letters usually gathered together, making various poems on the fantastic landscape. Drunken Bai Garden has an architectural style of Chinese traditional garden which was inherited from architectures in Suzhou: elegant pavilions, winding and zigzagging paves, carved beams and painted rafters. It was such a scenery of exceptional charm that it attracts an endless stream of tourists.

Dwarf moongooses have a smooth, glossy coat, which varies in color but is generally speckled brown to black. Their tails and lower legs are typically darker with slightly paler undersides.
