The University of Potsdam is a public university in the Berlin-Brandenburg region of Germany. It is situated across four campuses in Potsdam and Brandenburg. Some faculty buildings are part of the New Palace of Sanssouci which is known for its UNESCO World Heritage status
LIMNI - ΛΙΜΝΗ (Oct. 26th, 2014)
Limni, on the island of Evia, is a small port, beach and tourist resort, which is beautiful the whole year round. It is located 80 km NW of Chalkida and about 150 km from Athens.
The island of Evia lies along the Eastern coast of Central Greece, and is accessible to the mainland via two bridges, an old wooden bridge and a contemporary suspension bridge. There are also frequent ferries to several parts of the island. It is 175 km long and is the second largest island in Greece, and the third largest in the Eastern Mediterranean.
Taken on the weekend of October 25th-26th, 2014 while my English wife Theresa Jane Brown and I were visiting friends.

The cross is one of the most ancient religious symbols, and while it predates Christianity in both the East and the West, it is universally recognized as the principal symbol of the Christian faith today. Many variations of the symbol are used by various branches of the Christian church, including the Greek and Russian Orthodox traditions, but the original Latin cross consists of a long vertical bar intersected by a shorter, horizontal bar, and is frequently used in architecture, jewelry and religious rituals. I saw this architecture of holy cross along the countryside of Bulgaria.
Snowy Egrets are strikingly beautiful birds, with pure white plumage and graceful and elaborate courtship displays. The feathers of the Snowy Egret were highly sought after for fashion, primarily for women’s hats, throughout the late 1800s and into the early twentieth century. The species’ population declined rapidly until restrictions on hunting were put into place and the feather trade was ended. Snowy Egrets made a comeback and even extended their range. They are adaptable to a range of environmental foraging conditions. Snowy Egrets are a focal species that attracts other waders to foraging aggregations, and the addition of more feeding birds may increase success rates for all foraging birds. The Snowy Egret’s bright yellow feet enhance a foraging maneuvers, like “foot-stirring” that attract or startle prey. Today, the Snowy Egret remains vulnerable to oil spills, habitat loss, plastic pollution, and pesticides.The National Aviary, located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, is the only independent indoor nonprofit aviary in the United States. It is also the country's largest aviary, and the only one accorded honorary "National" status by the United States Congress.
The aviary is home to over 600 birds representing more than 200 species, and is a member of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA).
The National Cherry Blossom Festival is a spring celebration in Washington, D.C. I shot this one at Tidal Basin this April.
Beside the rock formation and temple Pura Tanah Lot (literally "Tanah Lot), I saw this beach at the moment was terrific for photography.
Foliage is beautiful always and no exception in Korea. At this location, they made the evergreen tree even stands out in front of the fall color in shape, demenison and color contrast.

Located on the banks of the Shenjing River, Guangfulin is an archaeological site in Songjiang District, Shanghai, China. It is estimated to be over 5,000 years old.[1] Artifacts from the Zhou Dynasty have also been unearthed at the site. The site covers 250 square kilometers (c.97 square miles). It was announced to be the Shanghai Cultural Relics Protection Site in December 1977 and was approved by the state council as one of the seventh batch of National Key Cultural Relics Protection Units in May 2013. The Guangfulin Relics Park is still under construction when we are visiting.

With a such a beautiful lady and background high up at 2,290M of Daisetsuzan, Hokkaido, Japan, I won't lose this change to shoot this image. Although it was a back-lighting situation, but the white snow gave reflected light and as a reflector to lift up the shadow of the subject.
