Cascade Ponds is a beautiful day use area that has fire pits, picnic tables and toilets. There is usually wood for a fire, but this is not always the case. You can walk around the pond and have a little picnic with your friends and family. There are 2 shelters in the event of rain, but they are first come, first serve. No reservations are needed.

LIMNI - ΛΙΜΝΗ

Limni, on the island of Evia, is a small port, beach and tourist resort, which is beautiful the whole year round. It is located 80 km NW of Chalkida and about 150 km from Athens.

The island of Evia lies along the Eastern coast of Central Greece, and is accessible to the mainland via two bridges, an old wooden bridge and a contemporary suspension bridge. There are also frequent ferries to several parts of the island. It is 175 km long and is the second largest island in Greece, and the third largest in the Eastern Mediterranean.

JOHNSTON CANYON INK POTS

Another shot of Ink pot, it gave me the sense of fall colour. Besides, there was a little ripple from bubble risen up from the bottom of the Ink Pot.

What you want to know about Johnston Canyon Ink Pots:

the sandy bottom of the pools release air and water through little holes, so they are constantly bubbling

every pool has a different colour; blue pools fill out faster than green pools

the year-round temperature of the pools is 4C, and they never freeze.

Emerald Lake and Mount Burgess in Yoho National Park, Field, British Columbia, Canada

Mount Burgess, 2,599 m (8,527 ft), is a mountain in Yoho National Park and is part of the Canadian Rockies. It is located in the southwest buttress of Burgess Pass in the Emerald River and Kicking Horse River Valleys.

The 3rd lake at the Valley of Five Lakes. This is the best amongst the 5 lakes that I'll rate in term of photography point of view. Perhaps at the spot I saw this lake was wonderful.

The hike around the lake, clocking in at about an hour, is one of the least strenuous but most rewarding in the park. An incredible breadth of geological features can be viewed from the lake, including the world-famous Burgess Shale fossil beds, the Michael glacier, and an avalanche slope carpeted by meadows where moose often graze.

I took this shot from the window of a train in motion on my way down to Zermatt

My Most Interesting - { Planet Adventure BlogSpot }

Lake Louise: Upon first sighting the sparkling turquoise Lake Louise, the actual lake itself, it is difficult not to gasp in awe. The beautiful, milky-blue lake rests at the foot of Victoria Glacier, which rises majestically behind it, capped by snow and ice year round. First sighted by Europeans in 1882, the magnificent Lake Louise has become one of Canada’s best-loved and most-visited attractions. Lake Louise is world famous for its turquoise lakes, the Victoria Glacier, soaring mountain backdrop, palatial hotel, and incredible hiking and skiing. Surrounded by a lifetime’s worth of jaw-dropping sights and adventures, Lake Louise is a rare place that must be experienced to be believed. Lake Louise (named Ho-run-num-nay (Lake of the Little Fishes) by the Stoney Nakota First Nations people) is a glacial lake within Banff National Park in Alberta, Canada. It is located 5 km (3.1 mi) west of the Hamlet of Lake Louise and the Trans-Canada Highway

The lake is surrounded by mountains of the President Range, Mount Burgess and Wapta Mountain. In the image, you can also see the Emerald Lake Lodge, a long foot bridge and the canoe rentals. The canoes are not cheap to rent, but if you have deep pockets it’s a peaceful way to enjoy the lake. Currently the rates are $70 for a one hour rental.

Natural Bridge was an attraction that I’m deeming to be a waterfall attraction because the Kicking Horse River actually disappeared before re-emerging through its span.

However, depending on your viewing angle, the span kind of seemed more like rocks being wedged together than a legitimate natural bridge. That color in the water, which seemed to be typical of the watercourses and lakes in this area, was a result of minerals and other deposits injected by glaciers prevalent in the area.

Growing apart doesn't change the fact that for a long time we grew side by side; our roots will always be tangled.
