- Swiss Alps -
A few years ago now I visited the Swiss Alps and in particular Lauterbrunnen, while travelling through Europe.
This is one place I just fell in love with. Switzerland is out of this world. The deep valleys, surrounded by massive mountains.
We just don't get that in Australia.
I would love to visit here again and spend an endless amount of time photographing it.

Swiss alps from the Tsanfleurin Glacier (also known as Glacier 3000) above the town of Les Diablerets, Switzerland. Here for a few weeks attending a meeting and doing some teaching.
Although I knew enough Italian to read the sign that said "do not put arms or objects outside of the train" I did it anyway. We were on a train ride from Munich, Germany to Innsbruck, Austria and as we made our way into the Alps we were constantly weaving our way in and out of the tunnels and couldn't help but seize the opportunity to snag a quick photo out the window.
