I remember this walk fondly, a warm summer's afternoon hike back down to Grindelwald for something to eat. Merely 14 hours later, we wake to another day, full of wonder and adventure.
One of the few pictures I have that even begins to capture the magic of light streaming through breaks in the clouds over those green mountains, valleys filling with shrouding moisture.
Then imagine the tiny homes and villages nestled precariously on edges of these mountains.
Steep train ride down the mountain. I like the way the warning stickers on the window relate to the scenery.
