"...gently down the Straits."...since you wont get across them using the Menai Bridge at the moment, as it's closed until February creating some almighty traffic jams on the Britannia Bridge in all directions.
This IS just one of the many beautiful views of the largest waterfall system in the world - the Iguazu Falls. This is taken from the Brazil side. There is a sightseeing group on a boat below the falls.
Spruce Flats Falls GSMNP. Not often I get this place to myself, last night was an exceptional evening.

Huge waves are crashing on the cliffs near Clogher Strand in Dingle peninsula, Co Kerry, Ireland.
This is one of the westernmost places in Europe and there's nothing else for more than 3.000 kilometers all the way to the coasts of Newfoundland in Canada.
So as this was shot on a "normal" August day (with a fearful mixture of rain, wind and sea-spray) I can't really imagine what it would be like during a real winter storm!

I had eldest daughter put her phone away for while and help me out with this, making the ice cubes, making the set, test shots, making more ice cubes, and eventually, like any responsible parent, had her in charge of the fire.
We were messing around with ice and fire for 3 nights prior to actually taking the photo, it was just good dad & daughter time 😊
