God is a terrific artist, and the Point is beautiful natural "sculpture". The cloudspray adds the finishing touch.
3:52 Landscape - in colour.
I have been trying to get a decent landscape picture all week. Late yesterday afternoon I went to the beach in the hope of a nice sunset. When I got there it was cloudy, with a flat sky and dull sea ... and haze!! Pretty much every feature was invisible. I hung around in the hope some colour would develop after the sun set...zip!! So I decided to wait a bit longer and see how the scene developed once the building lights came on. They evenually became visible through the haze when it was almost completely dark. This coincided with when the lightening started. So there I am alone on the beach, lightening flashing all around me, an almighty storm brewing - 15 mins away from the carpark - desperately trying to get my shot for the week.
It ended up being quite a surreal scene. The "noise" in the image is actually sea spray and dust and the uneven patches and lines of colour in the sky were created by the sheet lightening flashing during the long exposure.
I’m very grateful for your support and friendship during these two last years and wish you strength, resilience , hope and health for 2026.

Dettifoss - Jökulsárgljúfur 20210720
ökulsárgljúfur is a canyon in Iceland that was once its national park; now, it is part of the greater Vatnajökull National Park. This ravine is best known for holding spectacular waterfalls.
Jökulsárgljúfur canyon is best known for being home to the most powerful waterfall in Europe, the almighty Dettifoss. With a water flow of 183 cubic meters per second, it is awe-inspiring, throwing off great plumes of mist and drenching those who get too close. Besides its strength, it is impressive in terms of its scale; the falls are about 100 meters wide, and 44 meters tall.
The river that Dettifoss is a part of is called the Jökulsá á Fjöllum, the second-longest river in Iceland. It holds two more waterfalls within Jökulsárgljúfur Canyon. Upriver from Dettifoss is Selfoss, Downriver is Hafragilsfoss.

This shot was taken on the South West Coast of England at Kynance Cove, one of the most beautiful natural landscapes in the country, I urge anyone to visit this unspoilt natural land and sea scape.

The work done by God incarnate is the greatest of God’s work.
The work done by God incarnate, most profound of all God’s work.
Of the three stages of God’s work, the most crucial are these two,

The most crucial part of the work of God is done in the flesh.
The salvation of every man by God must be done in the flesh.
Though man feels God in flesh is unrelated,
yet in fact this flesh concerns the fate and existence of all mankind,
as He does the most crucial work.

The corruption of man is a hindrance to God incarnate’s work.
The environment is hostile, man’s quality is so poor.
The work of the last days is especially hard.
Yet the appropriate outcome will be reached at the end of this work.
The most crucial part of the work of God is done in the flesh.
The salvation of every man by God must be done in the flesh.
Though man feels God in flesh is unrelated,
yet in fact this flesh concerns the fate and existence of all mankind,
as He does the most crucial work.

God’s work will achieve the greatest result.
Without any flaws, God’s work will achieve it.
This is the effect of the work, the work in the flesh,
more persuasive than the work of the Spirit.
The three stages of work shall be concluded, concluded by God in the flesh.
The three stages of work must be concluded by God incarnate, no less.
The most crucial part of the work of God is done in the flesh.

Almighty God says, "His initial work was carried out in Judea, within the scope of Israel; in Gentile nations He did not do any era-launching work whatsoever. This one point is the evidence most capable of humiliating Satan; thus, God “becomes” the God of all creation in the universe and becomes the Lord of all things, the object of worship for everything with life."

This IS just one of the many beautiful views of the largest waterfall system in the world - the Iguazu Falls. This is taken from the Brazil side. There is a sightseeing group on a boat below the falls.
Strange old weather we've been having here this week. Saturday, the day before this picture was taken, we had a pleasant -17c as a night time temperature. Sunday morning when I ventured out to a lake to get this shot I stood in -10c conditions waiting for the sunrise to appear. Sadly this was the best it got. Monday we had an almighty snow storm come through only for it to turn +4c and rain. Lots of rain. Today we're back at -6c.
Anyway I was glad it was cold enough for the lake to freeze over so that someone could toss a rock out when the ice was a little thinner and then freeze over into this pattern. Not often I get to walk on water, I didn't go too far out - probably 10 meters from the edge but still - I walked on water!

So fascinating that in the days this was build people had ''enough'' money to spend and free space for a staircase and a hall of this format.
Huge waves are crashing on the cliffs near Clogher Strand in Dingle peninsula, Co Kerry, Ireland.
This is one of the westernmost places in Europe and there's nothing else for more than 3.000 kilometers all the way to the coasts of Newfoundland in Canada.
So as this was shot on a "normal" August day (with a fearful mixture of rain, wind and sea-spray) I can't really imagine what it would be like during a real winter storm!

Todos sabemos que hay permiso de Dios cuando se producen los desastres. Pero, ¿se ha preguntado alguna vez: cuál es la voluntad de Dios detrás de los desastres y cómo podemos ser protegidos en medio de ellos?
Dios Todopoderoso dice: “Cuando [la humanidad] llena de corrupción y hasta un punto doloroso le desobedeció a Dios, Él tuvo que destruirla por Su carácter y Su esencia, y de acuerdo con Sus principios. Pero por Su esencia, Dios siguió compadeciéndose de ella, y hasta quiso usar diversas formas para redimirla, a fin de que continuase viviendo. El hombre, sin embargo, se opuso a Dios, siguió desobedeciéndole y se negó a aceptar Su salvación, es decir, se negó a aceptar Sus buenas intenciones. No importa cómo lo llamó Dios, le recordó, le proveyó, lo ayudó o toleró, el hombre no lo entendía ni lo apreciaba, ni le prestaba atención. En Su dolor, Dios no olvidó concederle al hombre Su máxima tolerancia, esperando que el hombre cambie de rumbo. Después de alcanzar Su límite, hizo lo que tuvo que hacer sin dudarlo. En otras palabras, hubo un período y un proceso específicos desde el momento en que Dios planeó destruir la humanidad hasta el comienzo de Su obra de destrucción de la misma. Este proceso existió con el propósito de capacitar al hombre para que cambiase de rumbo, y esta fue la última oportunidad que Dios le dio al hombre. ¿Qué hizo Dios, pues, en este período anterior a la destrucción de la humanidad? Llevó a cabo una cantidad significativa de trabajo recordatorio y de exhortación”.

De las palabras de Dios, vemos que Dios posee la esencia justa y santa. En los últimos días, los seres humanos llevan una vida licenciosa para comer, beber y divertirse, compitiendo y luchando entre sí por su propio beneficio, están llenos de mentiras y violencia; nadie busca el camino verdadero, encima niegan abiertamente la existencia de Dios, e incluso los creyentes también siguen la tendencia del mundo y buscan el dinero, la fama y la fortuna, codiciando los placeres carnales y viviendo en el pecado, sin ser capaces de liberarse de él. Toda la humanidad se ha corrompido hasta el punto de que Dios la odia y tiene que destruirla. Pero debido a que las razas humanas fueron creadas por Dios y Él no puede soportar destruirlas, sigue haciendo la obra de salvarlas.
Ahora los desastres están cayendo una tras otra, lo cual es el recordatorio y la advertencia de Dios a la humanidad corrupta, y Él les da a las personas la oportunidad de arrepentirse ante Él, para que aquellos que tienen corazón y espíritu se den cuenta de que las profecías del regreso del Señor se han cumplido y de que lo más urgente es apresurarse a buscar Su aparición y obra en los últimos días y aceptar Su salvación plena. Por lo tanto, a través de la llegada de estas calamidades Dios le da la última oportunidad a la gente para que se arrepienta, y debemos aprovechar esta ocasión única.
