Denz was busy restoring one of the Hewlett-Packard Model 85 portable computers in the Computermuseum Arnhem hardware collection.
This unit's tape drive was broken, due to the rubber drive wheel being reduced to a sticky gunk. He used solvent to clean the mess and fashioned a new drive wheel out of silicone hose/tubing.

2005. My Sisters old iMac would not work, hard drive was clicking. Replace hard drive, installed Leopard O/S. Machine now working well.

I had to reroute the power harness after taking this picture, you can see it on top of the airport card here, but it was routed underneath like stock before I finished.

長龍臥波三仙台
三仙台位於台東縣成功鎮東北方，為台灣東部知名的觀光景點，地形上為火山岩所構成，最早為岬角地形，因海水侵蝕而成為離岸小島，島上有三座小山峰，傳說八仙中的呂洞賓、李鐵拐、何仙姑曾登臨此島而得名，目前被列為被列為自然保護區。
三仙台和本島之間由八拱大橋所連接，因岩石受風化及海蝕作用，產生海蝕溝、海蝕柱、海蝕凹壁等地形。從橋墩上跨海而過，再循棧道環島一週，可一覽其中的合歡洞、蝙蝠洞、仙劍峽等景觀，碧海白浪，珊瑚礁岩，於巨蛟般橋樑上觀賞浪濤奇岩的海濱氣勢。

Das Tier des Jahres 2015 ist der Feldhase.
Durch Umwelteinflüsse sei der Bestand stark zurückgegangen, teilte die Schutzgemeinschaft Deutsches Wild am Montag in Bonn mit.
Auf der bundesweiten Roten Liste wird der Feldhase als gefährdet eingestuft. Nach Angaben des Naturschutzbundes Deutschland (Nabu) findet das Tier nur noch schwer den benötigten Lebensraum auf den Feldern. In der intensiven Landwirtschaft mit großen Ackerflächen fehlen ihm Ackerrandstreifen und kleinere Gehölze. Rebhuhn, Kiebitz, Feldlerche und Fasan teilen dieses Schicksal.

Seine geliebte Sumpfwiese ( Au-Ost Tübingen) wurde jetzt auch von Riesentraktoren umgepflügt.
Statt einmal Maht bis zum Sumpfigen, ist jetzt alles Acker, auch wenn der Traktor fast versinkt und tiefe Reifen-Furchen nach der Ernte hinterlässt.

Hier nimmt die Wellenlänge von "oben" nach "unten" ab, das heißt, dass das blau-violette Licht die kürzeste Wellenlänge (ca. 350-400nm) hat und somit am stärksten gebrochen wird. Die von der Wellenlänge abhängige Brechzahl nennt man auch "Dispersion".

An old shack with a few windows, adjacent to a small "filling station" where we stopped to refuel the vehicle and our bodies, had this amazing old pain-cure promo pasted to one of the window panes. I found it amazing that the poster had survived in any form (for 80 / 90+-years?) -- and, though severely decayed, the ad maintained an exceptional "integrity" -- an oddly well balanced display of faded loss and a proud, "I'm still here with virtually all of my content, form, color and, most importantly, message."

At Zmudowski Dunes for a day in the dune grass and perhaps some wading in the surf. Note that this was my Kay guitar, bought from Tim Stephenson who got it at a garage sale. Sweet guitar. Screw-on neck, so I could shim it back to attractively low action, even though the front was somewhat bowed out by string tension. I need to find a better photo of it.
