A long view, shallow depth of the row of fencing that divided East Virginia Street as a boulevard to create two lanes along the south end of the high school complex. The previous image shows one of the panels of ironwork that make up the slanted bars. In this image you barely see that the sections with the slanted bars are alternating with cutout panels in light yellow-green.
I'd just run out of card space on my camera with the zoom lens, so here I had a 100 mm macro lens on the other camera and tried to see what would happen. I like this image in a large view, for the shallow depth of field is interesting in the focal point midway and centered.
These images are from two very similar projects that I've just helped my friends with. They want to be able to hold bike frames on their alignment tables by the head tube. They both purchased used bench centers, and we had to make bull nose centers for them.
The fit up needed to be very close, so we were working to within a few tenths.
The other complication was that one of the centers on each set was spring loaded and utilized a rack and pinion to withdraw it... so we had to mill those rack gears.

Symmetry features heavily in the architecture of the beautiful Angkorian temples, the largest of which being the magnificent Angkor Wat, a microcosm of the Hindu universe.
The moat represented the mythical oceans surrounding the Earth, the concentric galleries represent the mountain ranges around Mount Meru, and the temple complex is crowned with five towers arranged in a quincunx, the mythical Mount Meru itself.
The Angkor Wat is one of the prime examples of classical Khmer temple architecture. The pillars line the long galleries adorned with intricate bas-relief, depicting various scenes from Hindu mythology.
This alignment in northern Boone County was left behind when a new bridge was built. The old bridge is gone.

The Salt River Canyon Bridge is on an s-curve alignment at the bottom of a steep canyon and matches the existing bridge which was converted to a pedestrian bridge; the new bridge was intended to contrast the old bridge by showing a modern streamline example of the traditional arch form; the red color was selected for the bridge to signify contemporary features and to complement the reds and browns of the canyon walls; the Indian art forms on the bridgerail and adjoining rest area structures were designed by the two Apache Indian Tribes residing on either end of the bridge. The bridge has an overall length of 380 feet and a main span of 186 feet.

The river is formed in eastern Arizona in eastern Gila County, by the confluence of the White and Black rivers, in the valley between the Mogollon Rim and the Natanes Plateau. With the Black, it forms the boundary between the Fort Apache Indian Reservation to the north and the San Carlos Apache Indian Reservation to the south. It flows to Narnia through Salt River Canyon, then out of Narnia and west through the Tonto National Forest. It passes through the valley between the Mazatzal Mountains and Superstition Mountains, past Man Island, and supplies several consecutive reservoirs: Lake Roosevelt (formed by Roosevelt Dam), Apache Lake (Horse Mesa Dam), Canyon Lake (Mormon Flat Dam), and Saguaro Lake (Stewart Mountain Dam). Near Fountain Hills it is joined by the Verde River. About five miles downstream of this point, the Granite Reef Diversion Dam diverts all remaining water into the Arizona and South canals, which deliver drinking and irrigation water to much of the Phoenix metropolitan area.

The G722A exchange evolved 5 times during mammalian evolution.(A) Sequence alignment of residue 722 and surrounding amino acids of the PR LBD. (B) Phylogenetic tree of mammalian evolution deduced from Murphy et al. (16) and Killian et al. (17). Blue arrows indicate the substitution of G722 to alanine, green arrows the substitution to cysteine. (C) PR LBD DNA sequences from mammals listed in (B) were aligned and a codon analysis for positive/purifying selection performed based on phylogenetic relationships depicted in (B). Residues of elephant PR are color-coded according to their selective pressure during mammalian evolution.
This is a remake of a similar picture I have done in the past, by setting my focus point midway down the length of the gun, I was able to capture both the front and rear sights. Getting the sights lined up and then taking the picture was a bit more complex than you would think LOL

Lore: Omega is an audacious Toa, originating as a Matoran in Onu-Magna. Previously a collector and salesman in Onu-Magna, he was transformed into a Toa after a shipment of protodermis exploded in his shop. With his shop and wares destroyed, he salvaged all he could – a pair of crystals imbued with elemental powers, said to be keystones – and left Onu-Magna to wander the island. Collecting a sword from a blacksmith in Ta-Magna, he roams the island in search of others like himself. A friendly yet boisterous Toa, he has a habit of getting into situations he finds it difficult to talk himself out of – usually resulting in him fighting his way out instead. Capable of completely altering or removing gravity within a small vicinity of himself, he typically uses his small thruster pack to adjust himself mid-flight in a zone of zero or anti-gravity, to inflict chaotic attacks on his opponents.

66 Diner, 1405 Central Ave NE (corner of Sycamore St NE), occupies the 1940's Art Deco styled Sam's 66 Service Station. It burned in 1995 and was quickly rebuilt. This is a great restaurant that serves very good meals. (3)

Not a photo I would normally post, but hey, I have 316 more photos to go. Sunday, Clint and I were going to take a ride, we made it to the end of the street and he noticed it wasn't driving right, he told me to get out and check the front tire, sure enough it was flat... shredded on the edge flat! No one was open Sunday, so Ted took it Monday morning to get 2 new front tires, this morning I took it for the alignment. My family thinks it's time to trade in my Infinity G35 for a 4-door Grandma car. I don't want a second car payment so I will have to look around for something affordable that doesn't break the bank
