If my mobile phone dies, I would only complain if I really need to contact someone while on the go. If my PC dies, all hell breaks loose. It's my life and I cannot function without a fast computer connected to the internet. I feel completely lost without it.
Yesterday, Michi added components from my old PCs to my current one. I originally wanted to use my Alienware case again (pictured top left), but he didn't know much about the liquid cooling and light systems, so we decided not to risk it since I'm not savvy with hardware. My Alienware died on me and I didn't want to send it for a costly repair, so I got a new PC (which Mini-J is sitting in). What we're doing here is stealing some "unnecessary" components from old computers, like my dedicated sound card, extra DVD drive... while still ensuring my spare works. Just to summarise, I have 3 PCs, 2 of them work. I keep the slower PC as my spare. The non-functioning one is the Alienware case, which I still deeply love.
