To give Randy's intensely personal songs a sense of time, place and emotion, we played upon the visual similarities between old growth trees, a vintage map of the Danville area and the cardiovascular system. Layers, just like the music. We also incorporated a nice foil stamp, hand-numbering and Randy's own handwriting.

I have included this album to contrast with Full Moon Fever. Damn Torpedoes came out 10 years before Full Moon Fever. I find both albums to have very similar photographs so perhaps another reason the Full Moon Fever cover could use some reimagining.
