Today my wife and I volunteered at a pet rescue adoption event at Petsense. After I parked the car, I snapped a few pictures of what was present. Alberto's Greek Food provided food concessions for the event.

Las Palmas de Gran Canaria (30.03.2019). 19.º Festival Internacional de Cine de Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. Presentación de «Shoah. El campo fuera de campo» (Shangrila Ediciones, 2018) a cargo de su autor, Alberto Sucasas, doctor en Filosofía, especialista en pensamiento judío y literatura testimonial del holocausto, con motivo de la proyección de «Les quatre soeurs» (Claude Lanzmann, Francia, 2018, 273 min.).

Los rosarinos podrán darse el gusto con el que más de una vez soñaron: sentarse junto a Alberto Olmedo, el inigualable cómico que se convirtió en un ícono de Rosario. Y, como emblema del humor de la ciudad, era tiempo de que tuviera su propio bronce. La estatua tamaño real del Negro Olmedo, creada por la artista plástica y periodista Carmita Batle, fue inaugurada hoy en Rivadavia y Pueyrredón.
