Vuelta a Pisa tras cinco años.

Come back to Pisa after five years. Last time, Aritz was just two months old and Asier was absolutely disappointed as he wasn't allowed to climb the Leaning Tower, as he was too young. We were lucky that this year the Italian Dept. of the EOI Terrassa organized a trip to Pisa, so we cpuld celebrate Asier's 10th birthday there. Although we had the airtickets since Xmas, we succeeded to keep the secret until almost the boarding gate and the surprise for Asier was absolutely thrilling. Afterwards Pisa did the rest for an unforgettable family weekend...

Two years ago my wife and I were able to pack the children with the grandparents and got two low-cost airtickets to Paris with Ryanair (just ~50$). In fact the shuttle from the airport to Paris was more expensive... During three days we were able to visit most of the loveliest places avoiding the crowds as it was during the weekdays. The other good thing was the absence of timetables, so I was able to take some night panos without worrying about the kids... Well, I had to stand my wife asking "How many shots left?" once or twice...

Mis. Aisha Gaddafi

Dearest Friend,

How are you today? I hope my mail meet you in good condition of health. I am writing this mail to you with tears and sorrow from my heart with due respect to humanity and trust, please I appeal to you to exercise a little patience and read through my mail carefully. I feel quite safe dealing with you in this important issue having gone through your remarkable profile. I decided to contact you due to the urgency of my present situation here in Burkina Faso refugee camp for your rescue and I need you to personally assist me in business investment venture/project establishment in your country as my foreign partner as well as my legal appointed trustee.

I am Aisha Muammar Gaddafi, the only daughter of the embattled late president of Libya, Hon. Muammar Gaddafi. I am currently residing in Burkina Faso unfortunately as a refugee. I am writing this mail with tears and sorrow from my heart asking for your urgent help. I have passed through pains and sorrowful moment since the death of my late father. At the meantime, my family is the target of Western nations led by Nato who wants to destroy my late father memories at all costs. Our investments and bank accounts in several countries are their targets to freeze. My father of blessed memory deposited the sum of (?8.5 Millions British Pounds) IN LLOYEDS BANK United Kingdom which he used my name as the next of kin. Therefore if you are capable of running an establishment and can maintain the high level of secrecy required in this project, I will offer you 30% of the total fund while 70% will be for me.

The fund has been over due for the past one years and since then the bank has been disturbing my fathers lawyer while he disturbs me to present an interested foreign investor/partner who can stand as my trustee and receive the fund in his account for a possible investment in his country due to my refugee status here in Burkina Faso.

I am in search of an honest and reliable person who will help me and stand as my trustee so that I will present him to my fathers lawyer and the bank for the transfer of the fund to his bank account overseas. I have chosen to contact you after my prayers and I believe that you will not betray my trust. But rather take me as your own sister or daughter. If this transaction interest you, you don't have to disclose it to anybody because of what is going on with my entire family because if the united nation happens to find out about this account, they will freeze it as they froze others. So please keep this transaction only to yourself until we finalize it.

Apologetic for my pictures I will enclose it in my next mail and more about me when I hear from you okay. Please I want you to contact me via e-mail for more conversation: ekairebrob@gmail.com

I had several free days, found a low-fare airticket and went to Geneva to visit an olf friend. We had a splendid week, talking about the old good times, taking photographs and learning something about the nature of matter... And we were enjoying a lovely, almost aestival weather, which was not exactly what I expected in this alpine land. Something to remember: those days the UEFA Euro 2008 was taking place in Switzerland and Austria, so the atmosphere in Geneve was absolutely festive, with Swiss, Portuguese, Turkish and, not so often, Spanish flags hanging in the windows. I was in the Fan-Zone during the Quarter-final eliminatory between Germany and Portugal, and finally the Mannschaft acceeded to the Semi-final, to Portuguese supporters' desolation.

I met Niku his brother Abhijeet accidentally at Kamakhya in 2016 ..I was living with a controversial tantrik at Kamakhya Heights ..

I slept on the floor as the Tantrik did not charge m for the stay I cleaned his Ashram in the mornings and later swept the street of Khamhya behind the ashram this was my Kar Seva to a Goddess who called me to her abode again accidentally ,

I was invited to Kamakhya by my friend Laurent Salesse ace French photographer in 2016 and old friend since 2007 he could not make it and I was to stay in his hotel room so he asked me to cancel my trip.. I had booked my train tickets but I went .. and through a fraud sadhu a disciple of the Tantrik landed up at his Ashram.

By now the sweepers of Kamakhya had become my friends as I swept the streets with them so when they came to know I had acted in a Bollywood film they would take selfies with me and I wanted someone to shoot us I called a guy sitting near a house Deb from Orissa he was a guest of Niku ..we became friends .all of us .

Niku and his family visited me at Bandra a bond was created Nikus mom and my wife got along very well ..so from 2017 I live at Nikus place as extended family ,,he gives m shelter food ..during the Ambubachi Mela ..

I was again staying with him this year too 2018 ..I became much closer to the Naga Sadhus and my new Naga Guru Ram Lakhan Puri Kotwal Juna Akhara and Thanapati Swami Govind Giri.

But the most important part of this journey was my bonding with Aghori Guru Manikandan he gave me diksha and this will help me to continue with my Aghori documentary the first Muslim to shoot them upclose .. he has asked me to meet him at Kashi this year .

Than there is Narayan Chaiwala he is Assamese a studio photographer he loves me a lot and in 3 years we created a family bonding his children are crazy about me and his wife dreams of one day visiting Mumbai .He sells tea snacks takes a break from his photographers job.

My son Asif gifted me airtickets it was his surprise he booked them in advance as I did not have the resources and with my diabetes I cannot take a 3 day train journey.

On my way back to Mumbai I paid 1500 as excess baggage I was carrying prasad and rare snake sticks skull beads .

This entire trip journey is chronicled at my Flickr photostream.

Mother Kamakhya has been very good to me and this is one trip I hope to continue as a photographer and documentarist.

Today I revisited my Facebook after 3 months though I kept connected with all of you through Messenger ,,, I am mostly active on Flickr Twitter and You Tube .

I dont use Instagram.. and use Whats Up very sparingly .

My new Naga Guru began calling me Firoze Giri

And Guru Manikandan calls me Firoze Aghori..

Ayesha Ansari is currently pursuing BBA (Hons) at Hajvery University (HU). She was awarded a scholarship to Study Abroad for 1 semester at Hochschule Liechtenstein, situated in Vaduz, Liechtenstein. The scholarship included Return AirTicket, Comprehensive Insurance, and 5000 Euros Stipend Money for daily expenses among other things. The following essay is written by her, which presents a glimpse of her Experience of Studying and Living Abroad in Europe.

My name is Ayesha Ansari, I am studying at Hajvery University (HU) as a BBA (Hons) student, and I would like to share my amazing and life-changing experience with the other students to encourage them to work harder and apply for these scholarships at HU.

I travelled to Vaduz, Liechtenstein to avail this scholarship opportunity given by Hajvery University & Erasmus Mundus, where I studied in a University named Hochschule Liechtenstein. This University is the most well-known university in the whole country.

My experience was fantabulous and outstanding. People there are quite independent and live very busy lives. I noticed they don’t try to interfere in anyone’s matters; however they are extremely co-operative and helpful.

Our lectures at the host university were conducted in the morning and some are in the evening, so I always went to university five minutes before to take the lecture and after lecture I spent some of my time in library and computer lab to review the lecture.

Apart from studies I also visited lot of cites and other countries i.e. Germany, Austria and Switzerland with the other scholarship students and my friend from HU, Sidra Nazir, who was also sent by Hajvery University as a Scholarship student to Lichtenstein. I visited different churches, libraries, museums and monuments of different cities named Zurich, Bern, Dornbrin, Buchs, Genneve, Chur etc. It was fun to visit the biggest water fall in Switzerland.

I learned basics of German language but I did not get a command in German language but I do understand a lot. During International and Christmas Dinner people from different countries have to make food items of their Mother land - Sidra and I cooked a delicious Biryani and for Christmas Dinner, we cooked mouth-watering Chicken Karahi. My friends from all over the world, and everyone else loved the Pakistani food!

Hochschule Liechtenstein also arranged a lot of events and tours, from time to time. I attended almost each and every event organized by them. Some of the events include International Dinner, Trip to Chocolate Factory, Halloween Night, Ball Night, Trip to Christmas Market and Christmas Dinner, Farewell Dinner and Ski and lots more .

I didn’t face any cultural shock as I knew what to expect about the culture of Europe. The only problem I faced was to search Halal meat but that too solved after a couple of days when some of the Muslim students guided me. I made a lot friends from different nationalities -from Bulgaria , Taiwan , Japan, China, Czech-Republic, Austria, Poland, India, Spain, Egypt, Germany etc , most of whom I am still in touch with them through facebook!

As far as Cuisine is concerned it was so good and as I am a cheese lover so I really enjoyed and loved one of the traditional Swiss dish named Foundue. I did a lot of shopping with the scholarship money, As I already have my laptop so I did not buy any laptop from the scholarship money. Luckily I did not face any problem during the exchange semester as their administration and management was quite co-operative.

I will definitely miss the hospitality and the perfect management of the administration of the host university, the pleasant and frosty weather and obviously The Scholarship money…..seriously that helps me a lot in shopping and visiting cities .

My experience as a Scholarship student was out of the world. When I analyze myself after the student abroad program……I find myself more confident and mature. My convincing power, communication and presentation skills are much more improved .It is one of the best chance to experience different cultures at one place and I really enjoyed experiencing and understanding different cultures. In short I become more polished, independent about taking the decisions.

Its fun to get a scholarship as it makes the life little jazzy. Thank-you Hajvery University ,Erasmus Mundus and Hochschule Liechtenstein.

3 Nov, 2011. Saad Azhar is currently pursuing Bachelors in Electronic Engineering at Hajvery University (HU). He was awarded a scholarship to Study Abroad for 1 semester at Sabanci University, Istanbul, Turkey. The scholarship included Return AirTicket, Comprehensive Insurance, and 5000 Euros Stipend Money for daily expenses among other things. The following essay is written by him, which presents a glimpse of his Experience of Studying and Living Abroad in the mesmerising city of Istanbul.

”My name is Muhammad Saad Azhar, I am in 6th semester of Bachelors in Electronics Engineering at Hajvery University (HU), Lahore, Pakistan. I was awarded a life time opportunity in the shape of Erasmus Mundus Scholarship by HU; it was an achievement & an honour for me to be accepted for such competitive scholarship at HU. I chose Sabanci University Istanbul, Turkey – which is amongst the most prestigious Universities in Turkey.

Istanbul is the city that divides the two continents of Asia and Europe, the European side is known for its tourist destinations. Sabanci University is situated on Asian Side of Istanbul. I found the Turkish people to be very friendly, polite and co-operative. Turkey itself is a very beautiful country and Istanbul is the 8 most visited tourist city in the world! It has many beautiful sites and historic monuments.

At Sabanci University (SU), there is a group of local students – Mentors, to help International students settle in. On behalf of SU they arranged a trip for all exchange students to Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and Topkapi Palace, all of which are UNESCO world heritage sites, and in one word are incredible.

My courses at SU included: Turkish language, Power Electronic and Industrial Control. For the Industrial Control Course, my group got the highest marks for the project: PLC System and Control Project . This Project helped me learn how to work professionally in a different country with different people. I also worked on Robotics and learned how to control robot’s different parts. Since most Turkish people prefer speaking their own language, I decided to learn Turkish language to make the most of my time here, but I also got a chance to learn bit and pieces of German, French, Chinese & Dutch from the International Students.

I used SU shuttles, Trams, Metros, Dolmus, Buses and Ferries for travelling across Istanbul. I visited a lot of places in Istanbul like the Blue Mosque,Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Place,Eyüp, Grand Bazaar, Taksim Square,Istiklal Street, Panorama Museum, Forum Istanbul, Magic Ice, Turk Aqua Zoo and some other places. I attended Turkey Republic Day Ceremony and was surprised and glad to see how they celebrate their Republic Day with the fireworks, that was great experience. I also visited other cities like, Çanakkale, Troy Fort and Pamukkale during the vacations after the final term with my friends. It was a lot of fun over, we met many different people from different countries.

This great experience has enhanced my knowledge and my Confidence; furthermore it has helped me develop my skills in the field of engineering. During my stay over there I met so many people and made so many friends who helped me one way or other. Even today I am in contact with them and I intend to go back to Sabanci University for Masters in Engineering subjects.

I would like to thank HU for providing me such a life time opportunity.”

Boeing 747, from Kinshasa, Zaire, to Brussels, then Brussels to London on a regional airliner, now long forgotten.

Kerala Folklore Museum welcomes you with a big kalvilakku (stone lamp). As you pass the kalvilakku, you will be greeted by elephant statues on either side of the steps leading to the massive multi-storey traditional building. The interiors are designed in the Kerala temple architectural style. The entire structure is made of wood and literate stone with antique architectural objects.

Kerala Folklore Museum is for architectural enthusiasts who wish to explore places with a touch of traditional designs. It was started by Annie George and George Thaliyath, who have an antique shop in Mattancherry, Cochin. They started this in early 2009 to promote the traditional art forms of South India.

The building in which the theater and museum is located is constructed in three different architectural styles - Malabar, Colonial and Travancore. Each of these styles depicts the cultural ethos of the three kingdoms of yore - Malabar (north Kerala), Kochi (central Kerala) and Thiruvithankoor or Travancore (south Kerala). The ground floor of the museum is done in the Malabar style and showcases masks, costumes, tribal jewelry, puppets and traditional school paintings from15-20th century.

The first floor has colonial style architecture with arched windows reflecting Kerala architecture in the late 16th and 17th centuries. Here you will come across a performance theater called Kalithattu, where folk art performances like string puppet, Kalaripayattu (martial arts), Thira (ritualistic art form performed during temple festivals), Pavakathakali (glove puppetry) and Kaalakali (tribal art form) are organized. The floor above is made in Travancore architectural style with a mix of murals and paintings on the ceilings and walls. This has been made completely of wood with the four walls as the only support for the massive wooden ceiling.

Apart from the folklore theaters on each floor, Kerala Folklore Museum has various antiques that showcase the history, tradition and cultural differences in different parts of the country, especially South India. There are costumes of dance forms like Mohiniattam, Bharatnatyam, Kathakali, Thullal, Koodiyattam and Theyyam, and around 4000 antique artifacts from the life and culture of south Indian society over the past 1000 years.

Kerala Folklore Museum is a must-visit place in Cochin. It is a fascinating museum and rich in terms of architectural display. Special folklore performances can be arranged at the museum for tourists or visitors upon prior booking. For detailed information and activities .
