L8032 was the last production Gladiator I built in 1937 but not actually assembled until 1938. L8032 was restored using the engine from N5903 and flew again as G-AMRK.

When Gloster Aircraft closed the Gladiator was presented to The Collection in 1960.

In 2007 it re-appeared as K7985 of 73 Squadron RAF, the aircraft flown by the WWII Ace ‘Cobber’ Kain at the 1937 Hendon Air Pageant.

The Electra Junior (often known as the “Twelve”) is the first aircraft entirely designed by aviation genius Kelly Johnson in 1935. Soon after, he designed the P-38 Lightning and then the Constellation.

The construction (serial) number of this aircraft is 1252. Crew: two, pilot and co-pilot Capacity: six passengers. This Lockheed was delivered to Conoco Oil Company in December of 1938 and flown there by a famous Lockheed test pilot Milo T Burcham.

After WW2 it was flown by a series of unexciting corporations until abandoned in 1976. It was donated to a glider museum in Texas. The owner tracked this aircraft down and purchased it in 1989 and it was a long road to restore her to original spec.

He found a full set of interior hardware; everything from door handles, ashtrays to the dining table in a very small town in Texas. The cowlings and original seats came from an abandoned coal coking plant in Ales, in the south of France! “Ilsa” is now back to her original spec. NC14999 is owned by Patrick Donovan and is based in Washington State, USA.

There is much British wartime history with the Electra -12, many were bought for or conscripted into the RAF and Sidney Cotton flew a Lockheed 12 around Germany taking spy photos. His Electra -12 was the last airplane out of Berlin before the war started. Cotton also flew the Electra for photo recon in North Africa.

The BE2c was designed and built in 1912 at the Royal Aircraft Factory at Farnborough and was Britain's first-ever military aeroplane. Designed with artillery observation in mind, it was the most stable aeroplane ever built.

This aircraft is a replica BE-2c commissioned in 1969 by the

makers of the film ‘Biggles Sweeps the Skies”. Designed by film model specialist David Boddington, it was built and flown in just sixteen weeks by vintage aircraft specialist Charles Boddington at Sywell, Northamptonshire, based on de Havilland Tiger Moth components.

Flown, crashed and stored for 25 years in the USA, it was restored to fly again by co-owners Matthew Boddington, son of the original builder, and Steve Slater, back at its birthplace in the UK.
