Central Districts Field Day, Fielding, New Zealand. The largest regional agricultural event in New Zealand with over 570 exhibitors. This is the biggest day out for farming families and rural folk who flood in from rural settings. The event was cancelled in 2020 due to COVID-19 and was only able to be run 2021 after all of New Zealand recently returned to Level 1 that allows for public events under certain guidelines.

Keeping a lower cost than organic, according to the company, and much less water and fertilizers, can grow plants near consumer markets anywhere in the world, reducing the pressure on polluting logistics and advancing on preserved areas

For advocates of applying the technology, more efficient production reduces the expense of feed in raising cattle, thus reducing the price of meat. For critics, however, the price will not fall unless commodity export policies are revised
