Annnnd part two of "After Midnight". I wanted to stick to the one Kuji one Noah format, so i had to do a second picture even tho the one before was not so well received. I really struggled with motivation this time around so I hope it does not show and i hope that it gets better for the next pictures~ maybe you enjoy it anyways.
I have seen two brands i really like are looking for bloggers right now and i was fighting with me to apply but i still think im neither good enough nor have a big enough audience to be considered at all. so maybe sometime next year when i actually have some things to show. Thx to Vin for pepp talking me into trying it and i really almost did but im so scared to make a fool out of me that i just can't yet.
also I did not manage to be online a lot the last few days, so i'm behind in comments. i will try to get it done tomorrow, i promise!

After our first serious rainfall this year, birds at the local wildlife sanctuary were enjoying the morning sun.

After the rain yesterday, the sun came out, and the birds started flying around. I heard chickadees around, but up high. Then this one came down to the tree next to me, briefly, but long enough for a shot! I only noticed just now that this is at 1/100; I'm lucky to have had this without motion blur!
Hurstwood reservoir revisited
On Sunday it absolutely hammered it down with torrential rain for a good hour, at around 5.00pm
After it was over me, Tracey, and Herb drove to Hurstwood for a walk around the reservoir.
The thunder and heavy rain didn’t seem to have cleared the air and it still seemed warm and humid.
The sun was out and the reservoir looked as lovely as ever.

It was nice to see some rain of late after a dry summer. Agata attenuata bathed in afternoon light in the garden.
I had gone up to Ilkley Moor on a wet day and got successfully drenched by this rain storm. I was rather fed up and abut to leave but noticed a break of cloud on the horizon and thought I would wait to see if anything happened. It did. the sun cast its ray along the valley and lighting up Ilkley whilst you can see the storm moving away to the right of the image. One of those moments that rarely can be duplicated !
After some 24 hours of torrential rain, calm is restored on the coast near Southwick, West Sussex - October 2020.

Markyate is a street village set along the bed of the River Ver and is surrounded by the hills of the Chilterns (Hertfordshire). Since water has the habit of following gravity, rainwater would accumulate at the lowest possible point, which is where the life of the village and that of the river intersect. The river bed is tiny and, inside the village, culverted too, which means that surface water would need a long time to run off. A rainstorm such as that hitting us last night will inevitably cause damage for those residents whose houses have been built in the flood plane. I have spoken to some of these residents and found to my astonishment that they were not aware of this fact. Had nobody told them? Fuji X100F.
