A high tide exactly on sunset and I decided to have a crack at these concrete blocks at Cresswell. This is the first time that the tide has been just right for me to get the picture I was after. Nothing much done in Photoshop here apart from some colour and contrast adjustments.
I'll not be able to comment on your images for a couple of days. I hope that I can resume my usual FlickR activities on Monday. But if things go wrong, I'll not be here for a couple of days. Then I'll resume my ongoing series of animal shots.
This is a zoo shot, too. This lonely leaf was floating around in the otters' swimming pool. I took this picture through a thick and dirty window in low light.

I don't do early starts so much of the morning's mist had burnt off to a subtle haze by the time I got to Fareham Creek for a wander. Still plenty of atmosphere though. Shot & edited w/ phone
Although water level was unusually low, reducing the powerful persona of the waterfall, the downstream s-curve became more pronounced & created an interesting pattern. Lovely foliage colors added to the serenity of the scene.
