This little pied billed grebe would dive down, then bob back up to continue the meandering cruise across the lake. On Commonwealth Lake.
Love to watch our hawks float through the sky, swooping and drifting on the wind currents. My mind drifts with them.
This intriguing craft came heading past going upstream having just come under Walton Bridge . The engine sounded sweet and smooth but the superstructure seems it must be work in progress !!
This is a favourite spot for swans it seems , they were here in this spot when we came last week . Just a few yards along the area was the domain of a fair sized group of Egyptian Geese - and what a bad tempered lot they were hissing and booing at each other !!!

I reckon i've been a bit fetish about transport lately haha! Here's another form of transport as to my plane shot yesterday. I guess the owner of this boat was actually standing just diagonally opp me ... looking at me taking this shot. He must be thinking what a dickhead i'm ... another chinese tourist who never see a modern boat before ha! :P

- Tonemapped generated HDR using detail enhancer option
Photoshop
- Added 1 layer effect of 'curves' to increase the overall contrast
- Added 1 layer mask effect of 'saturation' (yellows) to slightly increase the tone of the sunset
- Added 1 layer mask effect of 'saturation' (blues) to slightly decrease the blueness of the sky
- Used 'unsharp mask' (as always) on the background layer
