Just over a week until opening and the children's books are on the shelves

Explore the house and gardens of Gilbert White, pioneering British naturalist, ecologist and ornithologist.

Inside the existing building, new roof lights are put in and the corridor on the second floor has been widened to make it safer for wheelchair users.

Still a fair way to go in the second library space and IT suite, but it's coming along quickly.

Pre-construction Phase: top floor. This room was the staff kitchen. It will be refurbished as a laundry room for the learning disability support service. You can see a hole in the floor from the intrusive asbestos survey.
