Pre-construction Phase: top floor. All the clutter seen in this photo had to be cleared in preparation for the construction work. Luckily the furniture could all be reused by local charities.

The wall on the right will be knocked through to the next room in order to create a larger office for all the staff in the building and hot-desk workers from the local area.

New internal downpipes have been put in (the old iron ones had completely rusted through and caused lots of problems with damp)

The old screen has been removed from the top of the main staircase (2nd floor) creating a much lighter, more airy feel

Children's library: wall has been painted and the floor screeded - no entry!
