Ground floor library space. Huge steel frame supporting the opening in the wall - strong enough to drive a train over, apparently!

Pre-construction Phase: removing furniture, built-in units and intrusive structural surveys make things quite dusty. This is the 'delapidation' stage - seems like an appropriate name!

Second floor corridor with wall structures revealed

Pre-construction Phase: top floor. This room was the staff kitchen. It will be refurbished as a laundry room for the learning disability support service. You can see a hole in the floor from the intrusive asbestos survey.
