The courtyard demolition work is finished and the courtyard has been cleared ready for the building work to commence.
The walls of the extension are going up around the steel frame. The curved bit on the right will be part of the cafe.

Some of the learners on the current project were involved in making this mosaic on the outside of Douglas Veale House six years ago.

Investigation of the wall construction reveals that the plaster was mixed with horsehair - a less visible historical feature of the building!
