CSX's crack freight, Q642 speeds by the Dyer, Indiana Amtrak station. To your left, you see the long arm of stationmaster Jim. Kind of reminds me of "Thing" from the Addams family. Canon F-1 on Adox Silvermax 100.

CSX train Q641 with UP motors is kicking up some dust as it rolls through a construction zone along US 231. The train is just north of Crawfordsville, Indiana on the former Monon. It was pretty impressive moving at track speed through here. However, if you know me you know that I'm easily entertained. Photographed on August 09, 2018 with a Nikon F on Adox Silvermax 100.

The forest fire smoke was so dense and thick this day I'm surprised this emulsion was able to resolve any details in the sky at all. It was very bright [and almost 28ºC] and I couldn't even really see the clouds wearing my sunglasses.
I thought it was really interesting that large portions of these basalt cliff's looked to be barely hanging on and might collapse into the valley below - and then I realized I was standing at the edge right on top of one of them (:-/)
