Two photos from this morning! Hope you've enjoyed a sunny day, wherever you are!
Lina made us smile this morning - we've recently shifted a couple of chairs around to make more space, and Tim notice Lina jump up to one of the dining chairs we'd placed by the back door! She didn't stay there long as it's not big enough for her, but she looked quite cute up there!!
Some days tragedies around you make you realize how important it is to enjoy every moment you are living and to savor every squeal of delight from a little one and a tail wag from two hellions of foster puppies! Heart is a four month old puppy who is crashing with us for two weeks before they head over to MN. Thanks to Passport For Paws and their guardian angel, Cheri for rescuing them from a trash pit! #fosteringsaveslives #adoptdontshop

Last snap of 2017 finally uploaded. Little Luna the foster cat (adopted to her forever home in Dec 2017 - I hope she is doing well!)
If youāre looking for a forever friend, there are a million reasons to give that pet a forever home. But there is a movement happening, which is āAdopt, Donāt Shopā. This basically means that if youāre planning on getting a dog or a cat (or any animal, really), instead of going to an online seller or a pet store, you should go to an animal shelter near you and adopt through there. Instead of shopping for an animal, you are adopting an animal. Just like you wouldnāt be shopping for a child, you shouldnāt be shopping for a pet.
Jarvis (Rescued from the street at 3 months old 4 years ago)

When Iāve had, shall we say, an interesting work week and I come home to judgements, but judgements delivered with purring and head butts.

Shana Tova!
Today I photographed little HellstrĆøm (named after a famous Norwegian chef), in foster care for The Norwegian Society for Protection of Animals.
He is about six months old, and was found living outside some weeks ago, without anyone in the area missing him.
I hope he will find a good forever home soon!

Little Luna, my old foster kitten from December, on her way to her forever home. She was so good in the car!
Yesterday I visited a member of the the Norwegian Society of Protection of animals that I hadn't met before, to photograph the four single kittens he has in foster care.
This is Cato - a little boy at about 8 weeks old, rescued from walking all by himself along the road far from any houses ā”

I haven't finished Milla's photos until today, 4 months after I photographed her - since she got adopted right after I visited the center of The Norwegian Society for Protection of Animals that month, and didn't need the photos for any ad.
But she was a really beautiful and cuddly cat, and I hope that her life is great now ć

Time for another photo of Lina, looking the right way! Here she is in my Mum's kitchen, which Tim and I will be checking once again today. Although the UK is in lockdown, the insurance states we should check the empty house once a week, and the last thing we want is another devastating leak that we have to pay out for again! Every time we go there now, I photograph the readings too, so it's proof I've been checking and we can keep an eye on the bills we're having to pay. Hoping to put it back on the market again soon, but lockdown isn't the best time for house viewings!!
Today I photographed two cats in foster care for The Norwegian Society for Protection of Animals, and a charming dog that visited them ć This is Lucifer, who hopes for adoption. Both he and his foster care "sister" was saved from the street by their foster care home about one year ago.

I'm editing the photos of the 13 cats and one rabbit that I photographed for charity yesterday, at a local center for The Norwegian Society for Protection of Animals.
All of them hope to get adopted, and I hope that my photos can help them. This male called Bob Hendrix was picked up for a temporary foster care while I was there. Poor thing, it wasn't easy to get it into its transport cage - but I hope it will have a nice life from now on.

EmmyLou Who wishes you all a Happy Fence Friday! Have a wonderful weekend, my friends...and let's just pretend we don't have a POTUS. The days ahead look better that way. :)
I'm still editing photos of the 19 adoption ready cats I photographed some weekends ago at the local center for The Norwegian Society for Protection of Animals.

...When you can catch her...
She is a vertical snuggler, although as time goes on, she is getting better about snuggling on the bed and couch.

Victor and Viljar - who I was glad to cuddle once again, when I visited the local center of The Norwegian Society for Protection of Animals yesterday.
Both these and a dozen other charming cats that were very ready for cuddling did well for my soul, who misses the world's best dog fur that's not in my home anymore š
These are two of the 8 siblings in the record litter I have previously shown some pictures of, which have now become 12.5 weeks. 5 out of 8 are now adopted. Victor, Viljar and their brother Varg (black and white) hope it's their time soon.

I've been busy singing with my choir and the American gospel singer Kurt Carr this weekend, so I haven't got the time to upload any photos.
But here is adorable Serina, that I photographed together with her siblings and other cats in her foster care home that waits for adoption, for The Norwegian Society for Protection of Animals.

Yesterday I visited the local center of The Norwegian Society for Protection of Animals again. There were both familiar and new cats and kittens to photograph and cuddle.
This unknown mom (later called Cava) and her two beautiful and special looking kittens came to the center for the first time, right before I did yesterday. I wonder what they had gone through and if someone is looking for her who probably don't know about the kittens..

So nice to have three great cats to keep me company during these lockdown hours.
In some parts of the world there is now a shortage of cats to adopt because many people want them during the pandemic. Only in countries with good animal control policies and few strays. Sad we cannot ship friendly street cats from Bulgaria and Turkey to Canada and Denmark where they would get a good home.
I photographed Cami and her siblings when they were 9 weeks old. Now they are 12 weeks, and Cami is ready for adoption for The Norwegian Society for Protection of Animals. She really hopes that there's a new nice family for her out there.
