We've done a Joli-Pitt here and adopted a small one!
Well there was a competition at H's work to guess where the monkey was from to win him. Apparently he came all the way from Rwanda. Now he lives with us in North-East England. Hope you like it here.

Archie was a stray that turned up in my yard. I tried to find an owner, but no one claimed him so I got him neutered and vaccinated and he was recently adopted along with his buddy Cookie.

Garrett is an 8 week old Terrier/Corgi/Chocolate Lab? looking little boy who was adopted during his debut at last Saturday's adoption event.

This is Lily. We adopted her a few months back from a shelter. She had been on the street for sometime. But now, she claims the purple bean bag all to herself.
Something a bit different from me and the closest to portrait photography I'm ever likely to get!!
When I met our new neighbours a few weeks ago I'm afraid I totally ignored them and fussed over their beautiful cat Phoebe and took lots of photos of her instead :) just kidding of course, the neighbours are lovely, including Phoebe.
Phoebe was only adopted recently so she doesn't have her own name tag yet, so she is wearing a collar with the name Ella on it. All very confusing when I'm trying to remember the names of all the people in our new street!

Ringo, the one on the right, from our NSPCA Adopt-A-Bowl shoot about one year ago has finally found his Fo'ever home!
From the good people at Pawtastic Friends who worked tirelessly to make this happen:
"It’s hard to describe what today means to me or for that matter to many of us. Ringo has been waiting very patiently for his happily ever after. Well, guys today was the day. Everybody’s favorite boy Ringo has worked so hard for this day. Today wouldn’t have been possible without the hard work and dedication of many many people that loved him. Rescue when done right is a group effort. Melissa worked tirelessly to get him to safety. She found a safe place for him to land at Friends For Life Humane Society. The changes in Ringo were almost immediate. The guys that run promised him that they wouldn’t give up on him. So today as a family we can all celebrate his happily ever after. Thank you to the volunteers that never gave up, the generous donors that made his Enrichment Training possible and to the many people who shared his journey. This is what happiness looks like. Ringo’s new dad loves him and Ringo has 50+ acres to play and even his own pond to splash in. He found the pond right off the bat. Let’s all continue to share the dogs that might take a bit longer to get adopted. There’re right home will come along. Happy Gotcha Day Ringo! We all love you. Love now and forever Fireball."

Congratulations to Doss and her new family!! Doss is a super-sweet, amazing little pup who we rescued in the fall at 1 years old. And now in this moment, she's either happily snuggled in her warm and loving home, or outdoors bouncing like a kangaroo, as she does. Love you, Doss! Please visit!
A couple times a year I donate my time and photography to the Animal Adoption Center here in Jackson, Wyoming. The AAC rescues critters from kill shelters and lately from natural disasters. These kittens came with 8 of their buddies from Houston after Hurricane Harvey.
The AAC staff work incredibly hard to shelter and find homes for these animals. It won't take long for these kittens to find homes but will take a little longer for the older cats to get adopted.
Next time you're looking for a new friend and member of the family remember... Adopt. Don't shop.
I adopted this little girls few days ago and today she came. I still need a name and this wont be her look (we need eyes, wig and sooner or later a new face)
Back when I adopted Jasper, Henry and Doug 2 years ago, Doug was going to go live with my girlfriend Nancy.
As it all turned out, his "adoption" fell through and Doug ended up staying with me and his two brothers.
I will never regret it!
He's a sweet, loving guy and brings a lot of joy into my life.

Thousands of animals are abandoned daily, the RSPCA in Australia tries to rehome these lovely creatures for a small price and saving lives. Nala is one lovely candidate I came across today. Hopefully she will find herself a new forever home soon. 🙏🙏 Thank you to the organisation and to the people work there saving these innocent lives.
We took this beautiful girl from streets and stayed 2 days in our house. Now she is already in a real house in Lisbon !! =(^.^)=

Years ago used to use photoshop for a living... now that I don't have to it's nice to go a little crazy every once in a while... but I still prefer the solid unmanipulated photo best. :)
