If you are suffering from G.A.S. with a quiver of camera gear, then you are probably are familiar with the very innovative Chinese lens company Venus Lens aka Laowa. They come up with some very "CREATIVE" lenses and high quality and fairly affordable. So, a couple of years ago I picked up this 15mm f4.0 MACRO??!! Ultra wide angle and macro is like drinking gin and strawberry milk!
So, until today, I have only used the lens once because it is a weird application. I would not really use it for tabletop because my setting is very confined and not suitable for an ultra wide angle. We are getting a last burst of summer and so I think it was about 108º this afternoon and once I finished my bike ride I have been wanting to experiment with my surf housing and this wide angle lens mounted on a tripod in the pool to capture watches dropping into the water. I tried a variety of shots but mostly somehow there were big dust bunnies either on my sensor or the lens and it really killed all the shots.
But, then I just went for still shots and I get it. A different perspective for sure.
This shot I brought in Photoshop for some Adobe Firefly seasoning.

Just a bit of fun with animation. (50 seconds)
The background of ancient Baobab trees was created with Adobe Firefly.
All the animated characters created with Microsoft Powerpoint 3D stock.
The two plant 3D figures I placed on top of the ancient trees scene then saved that as a video file.
I then put the dinosaur 3D animals onto that video on separate track layers and had them move left to right with keyframes.
The last Pterodactyl I had fly behind the Baobab tree. I got this effect by masking the trunk of that tree and placing it just above the layer with the Pterodactyl.
This gave the appearance of it flying behind the tree.
The second dinosaur is a bit slippery on his feet.
All put together with Powerdirector.
