Plas Newydd is a country house set in gardens, parkland and surrounding woodland on the north bank of the Menai Strait, in Llanddaniel Fab, near Llanfairpwllgwyngyll, Anglesey, Wales. The current building has its origins in 1470, and evolved over the centuries to become one of Anglesey's principal residences. Owned successively by Griffiths, Baylys and Pagets, it became the country seat of the Marquesses of Anglesey, and the core of a large agricultural estate. The house and grounds, with views over the strait and Snowdonia, are open to the public, having been owned by the National Trust since 1976.
The house site was first occupied in the 13th century, and was known as Llwyn-y-Moel. By 1470 it belonged to the Griffith family, who also owned Penrhyn Castle near Bangor. Gwilym ap Griffith had acquired substantial Anglesey holding from his marriage to Morfydd, daughter of Goronwy ap Tudur of Penmynydd. Robert Griffith built the earliest parts of the current house in the early 16th century, creating a hall-house.
The Menai Strait (Welsh: Afon Menai, the "river Menai") is a narrow stretch of shallow tidal water about 25 km (16 mi) long, which separates the island of Anglesey from the mainland of Wales. It varies in width from 400 metres (1,300 ft) from Fort Belan to Abermenai Point to 1,100 metres (3,600 ft)

The Wantij is a waterway in the Dutch province of South Holland , approximately from the Biesbosch at the Merwede to Dordrecht . This water divides the Island of Dordrecht in two. The Wantij owes its name to the large tidal differences that could still occur here - despite its location inland. The Maas and the Waal have traditionally come together at Dordrecht, and these large rivers have a major influence on the water level in the narrow Wantij. Furthermore, until the closure of the Haringvliet, the Biesbosch was directly influenced by the North Sea tide. The influence of tides is still noticeable; in the first part of the Sliedrechtse Biesbosch the difference is about seventy centimeters The tidal current can reach up to about four kilometers per hour.
The Wantij has often served as a border in the past, for example between the city of Dordrecht and the craft of Dubbeldam on the one hand and the lordship of Huis te Merwede on the other [source?] . Until 1970 it still largely formed the border with the southern part of Sliedrecht . Of all Dordrecht's city districts, only one, De Staart , lies north of the Wantij.

Mylne’s Court was once a fashionable address at which resided judges, nobles and dignitaries. Build in 1690, it was the first development of its type in Edinburgh. With its spacious open courtyard, it was a healthier place to stay than the narrow ill-vented places, or closes, of which most people had to live. Robert Milne, Master Mason to the Crown of Scotland (1633-1710).

The same procedure every year. Two applications are required to fly a drone in Thailand. A kind of driving licence or personal licence from the CAAT and a specific drone licence from the NBTC. Both applications require a lot of paperwork, forms have to be filled out and uploaded, photos with serial numbers, entry documents, an insurance confirmation, a residence address. If all goes well, the application to the CAAT has already been approved before the trip and so the application can be submitted to the NBTC with the entry stamp on the day of arrival. Ideally, processing will take less than half a day and you will then be sent a transfer order. The fee is 224 baht including bank charges. In the end, you have two certificates that allow you to fly a drone legally. I wouldn't do it without the certificates, because if the worst comes to the worst, you are covered, especially in the event of an accident.

An amazing waterfall near near Adimaly. Even in summer season also there will water. One of the main tourist attraction which you can see simply from roadside. The morning-time is the best to visit this place.

'LF' Spitfires had engine superchargers optimized for low level flight and it was found that removing the wing tips (which could easily be done in the field) allowed a faster role rate at those lower altitudes. Confusingly, not all LF Spitfires flew with 'clipped' wings, and not all clipped wing Spitfires are LF models. A captured FW-190 was found to outperform the then current Mk V Spitfire in most important repects which led to the hasty redesign of Mk Vs to MK IXs with a more powerful engine which went some way to addressing the deficit.
