I colori dell'autunno sono fantastici, ma sull'Etna lo sono di più. Domenica 6 novembre, approfittando della prima bella giornata dopo più di tre settimane di cattivo tempo, sono salito sull'Etna per una passeggiata pomeridiana. Ovviamente avevo con me la fida Canon, e altrettanto ovviamente sapevo bene dove trovarmi al tramonto. Con il bello o cattivo tempo, chiuso in casa o all'aperto, ormai so perfettamente in che momento tramonta il sole. Come i vampiri, lo sento nelle ossa. Non un vampiro tipo twilight, per carità, piuttosto un vampiro tipo Brad Pitt in "intervista col vampiro". In fondo gli somiglio pure. Nota di colore: attendendo il momento giusto per scattare la foto, ho rischiato l'assideramento. La foto è stata scattata a 1330 metri s.l.m. mentre io ero uscito da casa abbigliato come se avessi dovuto scendere in centro. La testa mi si è congelata al punto che ho preso a rovistare nel bagagliaio della macchina alla disperata ricerca di un copricapo. Trovo un vecchio cappello di mia moglie e lo indosso. Le chiedo: "come sto?" e lei prende a scassarsi dalle risate, al che capisco che per salvaguardare la mia dignità è meglio toglierlo.

This is pills and anti-depressants addiction, portrayed by Mariam. (but she is not addicted to them).
The blue tint and light of the room is supposed to represent pain and depression, which people nowadays want to eliminate. (i dont understand why though, because sadness is a normal emotion).
Mariam is the only person whom i know that still has one of the old-fashioned medicine cabinets :)
A large dealer area on the Main Drag into Quartzite, Arizona from the west end of town. No, I did not venture over into this area, for it was the rock and gem show I was seeking. Evidently not everyone comes to the annual Quartzite shows for the rocks though, ha ha!

Ho scattato questa foto il 15 novembre 2011. In effetti il cielo coperto non lasciava presagire tramonti spettacolari, ma il giorno dopo l'avrei avuto libero e avevo voglia di uscire. Do un'occhiata alle immagini satellitari e vedo che il lato sud-ovest dell'Etna è sgombro da nuvole. Perfetto!, è la scusa che cercavo per rimandare all'indomani i miei "doveri". Prendo la macchina fotografica e esco. Mi sobbarco quasi un'ora di strada e quando arrivo... il cielo era coperto! Pazienza. Almeno mi sono goduto la quiete che solo in quel versante poco conosciuto dell'Etna si può trovare e che un po', credo, traspare dalla foto.
P. S. non avevo preso un abbaglio. Come ho potuto constatare controllando le immagini satellitari una volta tornato a casa, le nuvole sono arrivate su quel versante proprio durante l'ora che ho impiegato per raggiungerlo.
well, maybe.. but Im just happy to find out that I can use our neighbor's WIFI connection from my room. hahahaha

O Fashion Addict da Color Club veio de um desapego da Gi (adotei vários lindinhos). Adoro holografias; da mais discreta até a mais escandalosa. O FA tem uma holografia beeeem discreta, dependendo da luz dá pra ver bem. Tirei uma foto no sol, mas como só consigo tirar foto no sol ao fim do dia, não achei que ficou muito legal pra postar aqui. Amei a secagem a jato; tinha acabado de esmaltar e tava sequinho!
