since it is christmas eve i will partake in the traditions of hot cocoa , painting something like train , and letting the little one open up one gift. =)

I can't decide which of these three I like best so I am putting all three of them up :)
So I went up to the hiking trail up 128th street. This is close to where I took the photo of me with the American Flag but in a slightly different spot. For this photo, I was going for the "People take technology everywhere even if they are in secluded places" look. I think I nailed it.
I had my camera on a tripod and had it firing rapid shots while I made different poses with my phone and computer. I like this one the best because it shows me blabbing on the phone while on the computer, completely unaware of the beautiful scenery around me.
For editing I used Photoshop CS6 on my mom's computer. I adjusted the vibrance, levels and cropped a little. I also added a vignette in Lightroom.
P.S. My attire is the what it is because I was going for a relaxed and comfy but somewhat nice look (hence the Sperry's).
The fast moving life of Washington D.C. is captured here in the honeycomb subway. The world moving, never stopping while our surroundings stay stationary, changing so slowly...
Photo of my daughter on her Blackberry telling her friends on Facebook how cool it is walking about a graveyard in sub zero temperatures with her dad, whilst he takes photos, to top it off when we left i noticed i lost my lens cap, so we went back in and followed our footsteps in the snow and i found it, what fun she had!
I did some test shots to try out my new 110cm silver reflective umbrella and a Nikkor 85mm 1.8 (borrowed from photograbber)

this drove me crazy-- we had been asked to put all phones into flight mode or turn them off and she kept texting, while they were giving the safety spiel; then she went on to view and delete her pictures and took 2 selfies, hiding the phone when one of the cabin crew came by to check that we were flight ready. she finally turned it off when we were actively taxi-ing
5/27/13- Day 3: woke up, got dressed/ready for Memorial Day lunch with the fam, the prizers and Rory and Caroline, played spit with Caroline, ate burgers, Skye came over, played spit with Skye, Skye almost threw me into the pool, went to Eliot's with Rory, Skye and Katie, got bubble tea (again #addicted), saw another peacock in the same place, went through my shoes with Skye, watched the bachelorette with Skye, mommy, and Katie, watched Woodmere Girls and old music videos with mommy and Katie!
