Secret #2: I am addicted to reading.
Some people drink coffee, I read.
I read all the time; I read in the tram on my way to work, I read while waiting in lines, I read on the beach, I read to relax, basically I read all the time.
There is always a book in my bag.
I get cranky when I have read a book and I don't have another one that I want to read...
...so there you go...with my bushy hair thrown in the package, some of my friends tease me by saying that I am totally like Hermione :P ...I don't know whether to laugh or be embarrassed :P

Wow. I started on these last night and I can't seem to stop picking fabric for them! I think it might be the combination of the simple shapes (who doesn't love 2.5-inch squares?) and only needing 2 or 3 colors for each block -- I can't seem to stop coming up with fun combos! Anyway, here are some samples for my Munki in the Middle Bee blocks. 9.25-inches unfinished.
I was listening to a documentary on CBC radio about how the Canadian health care system doesn`t take lung cancer seriously, they don`t value early diagnosis. They were saying that 70% of those with lung cancer smoked tobacco . As a result , there was no sympathy.
The way I see it, these people, by smoking, have cut short their lives by as much as 25 years . And just at a time when they are entering retirement and being a burden on the private and public pension systems. It`s just another conspiracy theory but it almost seems like tobacco is a way of killing off alot of people at a time when they are no longer contributing to society.This includes all other cancers caused by tobacco.
Then there is the 30% of lung cancer victims that don`t smoke and carry the same stigma.
Ok I can see tobacco as a very profitable form of population control by government and big business, but I can`t believe so many people are so stupid and have gone along with it. And even if they see what is going on, they won`t stop. They can`t stop, they are addicted.

I was invited to take pictures of Sidd and His Self-Esteem in action during one of their rehearsal sessions two Saturdays ago. They mentioned about using some of their photos for their upcoming album.
There are some gems that came out from the shoot but this is one of my favourites.

TV Addict
It's been a long time since I've really been addicted to TV. The internet fills the void that the boob tube used to when I was a kid. I even went through a few years where I didn't watch much of anything. But now shows like The Office, Parks & Rec, Doctor Who, and the Daily Show, etc. are taking up all my time. And I don't regret a thing.
Strobist: This was a bit of a hodgepodge set. To the left and slightly in front of me was an Interfit EX150 through an umbrella, with a large piece of wood leaning up against the side to prevent light spill over. On my right almost 90 degrees was another Interfit EX150 going through a 45 inch umbrella, which I had draped a black cloth over one half to prevent spillover. Took me way to long to setup this shot, which was triggered by hotshoe.

♪♬♩•*¨*•.¸¸Just done watching “Addicted To Fresno”. A mean ➺ spirited farce whose strenuous bad taste seldom translates into actual laughs. Movies about all the different kinds of familial relationships usually involve every dysfunctional aspect you can possibly think of. An interesting dynamic between the sisters, but the movie never really takes off and feels too haphazard. here are so few movies about female relationships, that it’s disappointing to say that Addicted to Fresno just isn’t one of them. It’s the kind of film that starts off in a way where you’re excited to see where this story and these characters will take you, but then it keeps chugging down the same path, becoming tedious and inconsequential. Addicted to Fresno turns into a spectacle of gags, including the killing of a man and the attempted cremation of his body. This is to strengthen the sisters’ relationship? Even the comedy is all over the place and nothing has the ability to strike the right cord. Often ridiculous, the film has a lot of ingredients but lacks the right recipe.¸¸.•*¨*•♩♬♪
