In 2012 Charles A. Peabody published, "The Privileged Addict". The story tracks his descent into chronic drug addiction and the crippling depressions that ensued during periods of sobriety. He wrote the book to detail the specific set of spiritual actions that changed him forever.
- Put a drug in front of me and I turn into a dumpster, consuming everything in sight. I can't stop. Nothing can stop me. Mom can't stop me. Doctors can't stop me. Pills can't stop me. Nothing human or man-made can stop me. I'm screwed. And yes I know it's wrong and I'll ruin everything, but I don't care. Even if I do care and I don't want to lose my wife, job, family, savings... I go get high anyway. That's how selfish I am. After 15 years of chronic addiction, I wanted to get better but couldn't. I had no power and no solution. Getting physically sober would just send me into a crippling depression. I wasn't okay with or without drugs until one night, up North, when I had a profound spiritual experience. I was equipped with a set of actions that saved my life and have brought untold miracles. I am recovered. I wrote this story to dispel the old cliche that people don't change. People do change. I am living proof." -

This was shot just west of Oslo, on the island Brønnøya. You need a boat to get here in the summertime, but in the winter there is a small bridge spanning the narrow water, so that it is possible to access the island by foot.

This is my 1st try with star trails and it is pretty addictive after getting to see the results and with this it has also given me an opportunity to try my hands on creating a time lapse video.

Prunus incisa also know as the Fuji cherry or 'Kojo-no-mai' is blooming these days in botanical garden of Montreal, Canada. Unlike other cherry blossoms, these flowers were too small to capture. However, the plant was looking so beautiful with flowers, made it harder to leave without capturing the moment.
If Hann is upset, or not quite himself for any reason, he heads for "his" baby rug, where he slept as a baby kitten, and he kneads it and takes a little nap in its soft wool. Here, he has come to the rug over a scratch on his nose from a thorny bush!

I took a walk along the Lake the other day and for quite awhile didn't run into one single person.......Ahh nothing like peace and quiet and beauty all around you...........(I waited for ages for a bird to fly past with no luck for this shot lol) Oh well, can't have it all!

I think I'm becoming addicted to shopping! I so love shopping for womans clothes, so may colors and different styles. Mix and match tops and skirts. Whenever I go in a store I'm scanning the racks looking for the next wonderful outfit. So I'm afraid that I will become addicted to shoe next! LOL
My friends and I have a problem. We can't possibly ignore a good rock to ride on!
