This is my 1st try with star trails and it is pretty addictive after getting to see the results and with this it has also given me an opportunity to try my hands on creating a time lapse video.

The Intravenous Internet. Sometimes I feel like I'm addicted to the internet and if I pulled out the plug it might hurt.

Living in the North during those long winter months makes you extra happy to see the sun in the spring :))
About:
This was shot just west of Oslo, on the island Brønnøya. You need a boat to get here in the summertime, but in the winter there is a small bridge spanning the narrow water, so that it is possible to access the island by foot.

North Narrabeen Pool on the first morning of New 2014. Hope you enjoy this shot as much I enjoyed taking it, Mario.
Please give my photos the extra 5-25 seconds they need sometimes to load clearly. Thanks! I've noticed sometimes they look blurry when they aren't. And I suppose I've taken some that actually are blurry; they take substantially more than 5-25 seconds to get clear. (wink)
Taken yesterday (July 26, 2016) as sun was just about to horizon level.

As much as I like my digital gear, film is just fun. That is until the developed shots come back......Steep learning curve especially with unmetered medium format.

I took a walk along the Lake the other day and for quite awhile didn't run into one single person.......Ahh nothing like peace and quiet and beauty all around you...........(I waited for ages for a bird to fly past with no luck for this shot lol) Oh well, can't have it all!
Enjoy your Saturday everyone..I'll be commenting a little later..I'm off early this morning..and will be back later on......CHEERS!

I did a fun little interview with artist Kristi Kohut for her fabulous blog, The Art Addict.

Taking a Sunday arvo stroll in Rouse Hill Park practicing how to take photos. What is better than to use know location for that task. I hope you like this one..

Thanks for all your comments and faves, much appreciated.
So, "She's That Girl" is not the name of the store, but Edikted is. It was no doubt named this, thinking there were a lot of young women with enough money to be "addicted" enough to buy their stuff, over and over. It must be working, as this place hasn't closed yet, and there are stores all over the country, including more in Los Angeles.
Anyway, I am happy this magic hour shot turned out well.

The center part has me confused, because it almost looks like a tiny separate flower. It turns out that the reason I couldn't find any pictures like mine, is most people put pictures of the flower right side up. Unbeknownst to me, my picture of this poor little thing was not only in the rain and gravel, but was upside-down in the rain and gravel. The color was remarkably pretty considering I had photographed the underside of it.
This was in Western Oregon, the Willamette Valley, in Springfield, Lane County, Oregon. I don't think it was growing in this spot in some gravel or asphalt; I think it fell there, but I'm not positive.
For Dave C., the soul of this one is I'm going to try to find out what it is. The Phlox Divaricata identifaction was made by a helpful Flickr member.
