Let's face it. 95% of the people here are addicted to photography, me definetly included :-) I wish I had that USB-2B ( Universal Serial Bus to Brain ) in reality :-)
Thanks to my colleague linientreu for taking the shot of me with her Nikon D80
to gannets
on a wee trip back to roots yesterday I stopped at a couple of beaches near Lendalfoot to enjoy the view when the gannets started a feeding frenzy. All shots were taken on manual including manual focus. Amazing birds to watch and I may just take a trip out to Ailsa Craig soon.

My name is Karin and I'm a Flickr addict.
Made for Our Daily Challenge topic 'Addiction.' Surely I have long been additced to Flickr - why not? The joy has not diminshed in the 6 years of being & sharing here. Addicted to this Wiki kitty and her bright spirit and soft affection. And I have long been known to have a 'thing' for turquoise which goes beyond just liking it.
I hope everyone can see Wiki looking over the screen in the inner photo.

And I know I let you have all the power
It's like the only company I seek is misery all around
It's like you're a leech
Sucking the life from me
It's like I can't breathe
Without you inside of me...
It's like I can't breathe
It's like I can't see anything
Nothing but you
I'm addicted to you
It's like I can't think
Without you interrupting me
In my thoughts
In my dreams
You've taken over me
I don't know just how it happened,
I let down my guard...
Swore I'd never fall in love again
But I fell hard.
Guess I should have seen it coming,
Caught me by surprise...
I wasn't looking where I was going,
I fell into your eyes.

Hoverfly (Syrphidae) in a balloon flower (Platycodon) on my balcony. They adore this flower.
A fly in the family Syrphidae and is commonly known as hoverfly, flower fly or syrphid fly. Like the name say ... the hoverfly is specialist to hover in the air. He is able to remain absolutely stationary in midair. There are about 6.000 species.
