Chanda Devi, 52 years, mother of babloo colouring and decorating the pots. Apart from household works she also actively participates in her family business.
Mum knew I wasn't coming home for Christmas this year, so she and Dad provided all the bits and pieces to make the big dinner look the part. Nice one.
I'm not a big strawberries fan but I love freeze dried strawberries. I thought I'd try to add them to plain yogurt. Just perfect.

We had a day for driving around and visiting Pine Hill, graves, the Salt Lake, Juranda RH, spent while looking for T/O to Deralinya, very dusty track. via Heinsman Rock where we realised we were at the wrong place. Air cleaner was choked up with dust! Had L and photos. Back to the road passing some emus to Balbinya.
This was reputed to be a camp of John Forrest with his brother Alexander and the Aboriginal, Billy, on his June 1870 expedition to Eucla along Edward Eyre's track. via Point Culver!

Forrest reached Eyre at 126deg 18" East where the EBO is now!
We visited Coragina & on to Booanya Rock and noted the usual many rabbits and ant trails over the rock.
We set up the tent at Balbinya but it blew down till we moved it to deeper soil. We had dinner in the car out of the wind.
I took this flash photo then off to bed 8:30-9 when we started hearing scratchy sounds under the ground sheet, which was not sealed to the edges of the PaddyMade tent.
We managed to sleep after securing the place against the beetles and spiders trying to make their way to the surface.
It was hot the next morning by 8am . Mary wanted to spend a few days home before work so we packed and climbed the ladder to the new Trig on Booanya Rock
