Kalandra: The State of the World
One of the few shots of Adam's Lake within Tsútswecw (Roderick Haig-Brown) Provincial Park that I managed to get before we were driven back to the car by ravenous mosquitoes :-( Turns out Adams Lake is ranked 6th deepest in the world! Wish we could've seen more of it.
Thought I'd sneak it in early for the Fence Friday group. HFF!

Prophet Adam (AS) is regarded as the first human being created by God from the earth. While the core narrative of his creation and life in Paradise is shared, each faith emphasizes different theological roles for him.
Core Shared Beliefs
Creation: Adam was formed by God from dust or clay, and God breathed life (a soul) into him.
Companion: Eve (Hawwa) was created as his companion, often described as being formed from Adam's rib.
The Fall: They initially lived in a paradisiacal garden (Eden) but were expelled to Earth after eating fruit from a forbidden tree, a moment often termed "the Fall".
Progenitor: He is known as the "Father of Humankind," and all humans are considered his descendants.

Another shot of Adam Ant in his current series of concerts. This was taken in Brighton, just loved the light and this pose. I must say very pleased with what the Nikon D750 can do in low light situations. There will be one more post from this concert (I think) A bit of Adam back in the day. Just love the drums :-).

This is a color-in I did of adam I personally think this one is my best one I did but that is just my opinion.
No, I'm not a religious nut, I just love this scene, it cracks me up so much. This is just a little snippet of a story I'm working on for a bigger project, which hopefully I'll be able to upload if I'm not driven away by downraters first.
Pretty much everyone knows the story of Adam and Eve, so I hope I don't need to explain what this is all about.
The blue guy in the backgraound is God. Yes, I made him blue, instead of the typical angry white guy, because chances are he really doesn't have skin color...that is if he exists.
*Note* Check out Eve's skin, it's amazing!! Enayla from MTS2 and inSIMinator did a kick ass job with the details ALL over the body and not just the face like most other skintone makers.
A childhood friend, Adam, passed through Taos last week. We hung out a bit and then headed to the gorge to try to catch a colorful sunset. He posed for a few photos on the Rio GRande Gorge Bridge.

On a hike yesterday with David Hill, we met Adam and his two girls who had hiked in the day before and spent the night on Shortoff. A very nice family, and I was amazed that the girls were only age two and five years old, having a great time with their father in Linville Gorge Wilderness Area on such a chilly night. Memories being made which all will remember for years to come...
