Ada is a quiet girl, a bit shy, loves to read. Her favourites are Bizenghast and Goethe. She also adores her teddybear.

Ada is a member of the community at Gummen Place, which is the old age hostel at Merriwa. She was born in Wales and came here on a ship when she was 11 years old. "The trip was 8 or 9 weeks coming, 6 weeks on the ship and 2 or 3 in quarantine", Ada stated. When asked what she thought of Australia when she first saw it, she replied, "It was very beautiful". Ada said that she has been in Merriwa a long time and before she came here she lived in Sydney for about 30 years. Anthony Scully, the producer of ABC Open, asked Ada about a photo of a wedding, including the bride and groom and the best man and the maid of honour, she said "that is not me, it is my sister. It is a very beautiful photo".
Ada is a very nice, albeit a little hard of hearing, senior citizen in the community of Merriwa, who I hope in the future will continue to live at Gummen Place and spread her kindness around the home with all the other residents and staff.

My baby sister Ada's room, one special feature in her room is the "In-door balcony" which can be use as a resting area(p.s. she bought many large pillows for this unique space,it's very cozy for book reading on a sunny afternoon)/and serve as a storage area at the same time.
ADA es una gatita joven que llevaba casi dos años en una casa de acogida. Estuvo desde que era tan sólo un bebé.
Pero después de vivir con todos sus mimitos, cuidados, está de nuevo está en el refugio esperando ser adoptada porque la familia que la tenía no pudo seguir con ella.
Ada es cariñosa y tranquila, ideal para cualquier casa y edad del adoptante.
Le gusta jugar, ser acariciada y peinada, pero sobretodo que la achuchen. Necesita volver a sentirse parte de una familia. Casos como el de Ada son los que más urgen. Por favor, una casita para ella.

ADAS research centre buried deep in the Kent countryside – they use to do all sorts of agricultural experiments here. Went over a year ago but dug out a few extra shots. The place was so full of damp; most of the labs had massive amounts of mould growing in them. The entire place just had this really eerie feel to it !
