Young people from START at Youth Initiatives have been enjoying lots of bouldering, canoeing, kayaking and BBQs recently. Though it looks like they're just having loads and loads of fun, I can assure you they are actually all working very hard to gain qualifications in outdoor sports, as well as working towards their youth achievement award.

i got this giant vinyl world map for cheap at the thrift store, and it stinks so we don't bring it out often. but we had a great time today, racing little cars on adventures in all sorts of exotic places in the world. T loves maps, and he loves cars, so this is a perfect activity for him to practice geography.
