Well not really... but this little interruption to the Wakefield shots.. is for our little flickr groups homework.. we had to take a creative reflection shot... this might not be that creative but it was different..
This was on our annual weekend fishing trip with some buds on a houseboat on the glorious Hawkesbury river, just north of Sydney, Australia...
It absolutely pissed down on Friday night... which dampened our spirits somewhat... but the next day I went exploring with my kayaks along some of the minor streams and found some great waterfalls discharging there load into the sea... these shots will be liberated soon...
This area is in Ku-ring-gai National park, so while close to Sydney and the waters edge, still very remote and only readily accessible from the ocean..
So this then is my feeble reflection.. a tick on remoteness, but a cross on creativity.. oh well...
I shall return with shots of the falls soon...

Young people from START at Youth Initiatives have been enjoying lots of bouldering, canoeing, kayaking and BBQs recently. Though it looks like they're just having loads and loads of fun, I can assure you they are actually all working very hard to gain qualifications in outdoor sports, as well as working towards their youth achievement award.

ExtraCare residents and staff visited the Ackers Trust for several days of activities including boating, archery, skiing, tobogganing and abseiling.
T really enjoyed this. he decorated both triangles with the foam ornaments, then glued them back-to back, then added the stars on top (one on each side). popped it in the toilet paper roll...voila!
The rut in not in full swing. No does are receptive to the bucks, but they are starting to single out a doe here and there that has a scent of estrus. Lefty, this mature 13-point buck tried to sneak a sniff of this doe and she left the country with him in hot pursuit. So much for this series of shots.
