We woke up to red flag warnings for the beaches due to high surf. No snorkeling today so we decided to check out the scenery on the north shore. Excellent choice. We went to the famous Ho'okipa Beach Park - noted for world class windsurfing - only today no one was in the water. The surf was spectacular - I was waiting for the music from Hawaii 5-0 to break out. We hung out here for a bit and then went to Kanaha Beach - also noted for windsurfing and kite boarding. Good surf so there were a lot of people in the water. These people make it look so easy.

Illipe Nut that has been collected from the forest will be smoked. Smoke is one of the traditional methods of preservation and processing before sold them into the market (collector factory).

i made up 12 little "kits" of wallets, change purses and cell phone holders with various combinations of keys, tickets, change, photos, expired driver's licences, hotel keycards, subway tokens, and depleted gift cards, as well as interesting pictures and some thomas trading cards. T has seen a lot of this before, but there were far fewer objects to look at and i made the mistakes of (1) putting it all in the basket at one time, and (2) hiding jelly beans in some of the pockets. this time i'm offering only three kits at a time, changing out one each night. and no jelly beans! that aspect really spoiled the idea of exploration for its own sake.

The University Center mall was packed Wednesday for the annual Maverick Cookout Featuring the Activity Fair Day. Students learned about student organizations, sports clubs, social groups, University departments, volunteer opportunities, and community programs.

The man is loading groceries into his pannier as the tram rolls by, sharing a lane with cars and trucks. The narrow bike lane is between the tram and the pedestrians.

ok... i just watched the Welcome to your new Home Page screencast on the new interface, and it kinda makes sense. flickr is trying to be more social. fair 'nuff.
And, as long as I can choose whether I want to see the comments I made and/or activity in my set of photos, that's good enough for me.
I do like the sparkly new interface. It seems cleaner and brighter. Change... deal with it :)
If only you could choose a wide page to suit a widescreen display... that would be ace. No scrolling for me, I like everything on the one page.
The College recently welcomed an estimated 1,000 guests to campus for the school's second annual homecoming. Festivities began earlier in the week, with several Student Life activities, followed by an alumni reception. Game day included a tailgate party before the Chaparrals hosted the Iowa Western Reivers.
Lack of information about rubber cultivation among local people caused improper way of rubber tapping way. This affects the quantity of rubber products.
