I would love to hear what you think. Thanks!

Ms. Barbara read a book about the dewey decimal system to the children and then explained each section and what type of books they may find in that section. Ms. Barbara then asked them about specific questions relating to the 500's and what were specific books would be found in the 500's or "science section". Ms. Barbara mentioned 3 series, including the magical school bus, magic tree house and Bill Nye DVDs are very good science resources. Ms. Barbara had book displays and activities at different stations focusing on the 500's. At the 510's was a mathematical rainbow, 560's was a dot to dot dinosaur, 550's drew a photo of their favorite season, 590's Origami dog and a fun find the hiding animals page, and 580's Painted a tree. Once they visited each station and completed their activities they received a special bookmark.

Merlin Juvenile activity after having left the nest and has been practicing flying - still shows its need for food demand while also demonstrating its ability to keep an eye out on unusual movements; all of which shows as an energy demand that makes drowsiness apparent even in the early morning. South Edmonton pond area July 28 2015. This is my first lengthy contact with Merlin this year - albeit had heard them and seen them occasionally but not able to find their nest locations.

I noticed a sudden flurry of activity at this spot: birds (seagulls) hovering overhead with something going on in the water. Note the thick line in the foreground, something was there, with some flicking of silver (fish, apparently, jumping), don't know what it was. This is typical of whale sightings, where you see a dark patch first with birds hovering overhead, but considering that this part of the world is not known for whales, I'm sure it was a dolphin. Anything you can cut, paste, design, mix, stick, glue, rub, wet, tape, draw, paint, sew, write or create ….she’s your girl. Bath Bomb making kit - just one of many “things to do” Christmas gifts that was a real hit.

Victorian R class models, R727-R752 are seen double-heading on the Gordon layout at the 2016 Epping Model Railway Exhibition.

Gordon is a station on the main Melbourne to Adelaide line, and scenes such as these were common in the 1950-60s after dieselisation relegated the big steam to freight duties.
