Last Friday at a NEW Site, while crouched down taking a few Photos of this PRETTY Lantana Plant, along came this BEAUTIFUL Zebra Longwing Butterfly- She fluttered in front of me for several minutes Flirting with the Camera. He is CONSTANTLY singing, especially at night; Is VERY territorial; And is an Omnivorous Bird in MANY of the US States--- It is actually the State Bird of FIVE States (Texas, Arkansas, Florida, Mississippi, and Tennessee). Have you ever heard 10 or 15 DIFFERENT Birds singing outside in an ENDLESS String?! You probably didn't/don't ACTUALLY have SEVERAL Bird Species singing, BUT INSTEAD a Master Mimic singing all of their Songs himself.
DID YOU KNOW... In the 19th Century People appreciated the Mockingbird and their, ALOMOST 200 Songs, so MUCH that they were Sold (for as MUCH as $50) and kept in Cages---The birds nearly vanished due to people trapping them!

Lots of people don't care for OR they even HATE Bugs, but REALLY the Insects in our World (NOT ONLY the Bees) Pollinate so many fruits, Veggies, and Crops— Without them and their help, our population of Produce would disappear! In many Countries they are considered a good and convenient source of Protein, like they have been for FOREVER! What about Waxes, Lotions, Dyes— Where do you think that they come from?! Why Insects, of course! Scientific Research would come to a screeching halt too, as Insects have been used in Testing for thousands of years!
There is un-BUG-lievable beauty all around us— Help keep Insects alive, because we can't live without them— Plant Native Plants; Refrain from using Chemical Pesticides and Fertilizers; And instead of ‘killing’, perhaps next time you find a Bug where you'd rather not see it, try a trap and release method of re-location?!

Bitter Melon is QUITE popular in VARIOUS Asian Culture Cuisines-- And is often paired with Eggs, Pork, Beef, Black Beans, and Sauces to combat its 'bitterness'; YET it IS STILL an ACQUIRED TASTE! The Vietnamese name "Kho Qua" translates to "Passed Suffering", which is a bit comical, considering... There are also OTHER varieties of the Vegetable (Spikey and Smooth Varieties; And EVEN the RARE White ones) that are known to be FAR sweeter!

Have you ever heard 10 or 15 DIFFERENT Birds singing outside in an ENDLESS String?! You probably didn't/don't ACTUALLY have SEVERAL Bird Species singing, BUT INSTEAD a Master Mimic singing all of their Songs himself.
