1st Appearance of Robin.
Published by Grande Consórcio Suplementos Nacionais, Brazil 1940-1954
Brazil is one of the most significant countries of origin in our genres history.
They began publishing comics with Tico Tico in 1907.
Their Super Hero genre began in 1936 with the Phantom, and Superman was published in 1938 by O Globo.
Followed by Timely Comics, National Comics and MLJ Comics, and Fiction House Comics began in 1940.
All among the earliest in history world-wide.
Detective No.38 is a prime example of how important they were in publishing.
This is the only other international publication in real time of this historical 1st appearance that I know of, until much later decades later in most cases.
