Two of the most important Titles in Global History in our genre.
O Lobinho is among the earliest National Comics publishers in International history this title began in Journal form in 1938.
O Globo Juvenil began in 1937, and began publishing Super-Hero comics in issue No.12 of year one with the Phantom.

I was helping the officers outside the Old City Hall secure the area, when Superboy stopped by. He wanted us to work together and save Gotham. I declined his invitation and told him that I had other plans that involved me working alone for the time being. Before leaving the area, I gave him some advice.
"Kon-El, beware the birds to the east. They will migrate to the west once it gets too cold out there."
With the area secured and in good hands I took my leave. As I flew past the glamorous area of the Diamond District, I started to feel a little home sick. Not Metropolis, but Smallville. I sometimes wish, I didn't have these powers. To be normal, where my biggest worry would be what to get Lois for our anniversary or helping Pa take care of things at the farm. With that in mind, I noticed a little crowd gathering in what seemed to be a "Farmer's Market" in Little Italy. I landed and was greeted by one of the vendors. This reminds me of the days at the farm, when I helped Pa with the harvest and bringing it to town to sell. I miss those days.

Superman takes to the skies from #126 Old City Hall, flies over #128 Diamond District, and lands on #137 Little Italy.
I would be a happy camper if this #1 issue of "Action Comics" was worth close to the one from June of 1938.

I'm getting sick at looking at my ugly mug all the time so I decided to try something different for my 365 today. what I ended up with is something that includes many of my favorite things. I love comic books, I love toys, I love photography, I love graphic design, and I love Photoshop...KABLAM!!...here they are, all together! :)
Superman isn't my favorite super hero, but I had the figure next to me on my desk. I'm really more of a Batman guy. I have to say though, if I could have any character's powers, I'd definitely want Superman's. ;)
This amazing stranger from the planet Krypton, the Man of Steel... SUPERMAN!
Possessing remarkable physical strength, SUPERMAN fights a never ending battle for Truth and Justice!

In recent years, I have found myself being increasingly disappointing with the modern interpretation of Superman. One of the big things I feel people get wrong about the man of steel is that they focus too much on his alien heritage (Zack Snyder, I'm looking at you). Too many of his battles are in space, or other dimensions, in scenarios that we can even fathom as the simple human beings that we are.
I feel like people have forgotten that before the kryptonian armor, before the angsty "my father is dead and I can't tell anyone about my powers," and especially before the terraforming world engines... he was called Superman for a reason. He is SuperMAN because above all else, he is a man trying to do what he can do. He is the original all American story- an immigrant from a far away land, coming to America, sink his roots, and rise to become something great.
His biology is kryptonian, but he is as human as any of us.
Call me old fashioned, but when it comes to superheros, I would take a superman in everyday scenarios any day over a super alien in alien scenarios.
The face is that of one of the SW clones, as I felt the normal Superman face was too close to Batman/Bruce Wayne, the cape is a custom, shorter length, and the base of the torso and legs is a Collectible mini figure series Surgeon.
