I rode my AiPAS EBike down to Volunteer Landing (riding on Third Creek and Neyland Greenways ). I got photos with my Sony Alpha and iPhone cameras. I flew my DJI drone as well and captured video & photos during my flight.

Coachloads of cross-country running teams from as far away as Montana in the west and Florida in the south converged on Riverside Park along the Grand River, just north of Grand Rapids, Michigan city center. On and off light rain kept the Saturday conditions cool, but not unreasonable for running the 8k standard competition distance.
Besides drivers, coaches and sports medicine staff, there were parents and friends filling the start and finish area in the park. This photo shows one team, dressed in yellow jerseys, posing for a memento photo.

Spent a quiet 47th annaversary at Longwood today. Decided to check out the still picture capability of my action camera while walking around.

A skydiving camera helmet fitted with two cameras sits at the center of a chaotic workshop filled with tools, equipment and traces of years spent working around flying. A surreal reimagining of the original photograph, turning a specialized piece of skydiving camera gear into the centerpiece of an old-school workshop where photography, mechanics and aerial sports collide.
If one were to wade into the watery landscape it may be be deep enough to reach one's beltline. That is the height above the museum floor that the scene is built for. Discretely placed speakers loop an audio soundscape of birds and insects. The illuminated panels that separate visitors from the display give clear close-up views of the creatures in the display to look for, along with text to give some details of their lives in the wild.
The large glassy bubble surrounded by a ring of images and brief identification of elements embedded in the bubble all belong to "one drop of pond water" here magnified big enough for the small creatures to be visible with the unaided eye.
