Yesterday I did take this shot with a lot of help of my father! It was raining but at those moments it's often so beautiful and silent outside, love those moments. This one is about Survivorman (one of the survivors in a post-apocalyptic world) who is trying to keep the last plant on earth alive. It's his only source of oxygen....
Since last October, a different type of cargo started arriving for export in the port of Burgas: the sulfuric acid trains of BZK from Pirdop. Until then, those freights would usually travel to Razdelna, near Varna.
On the photo: 40 1022 is seen entering Burgas Iztok on a foggy (the fog is in the back, near the sea) Sunday morning.
Union Pacific's sulfuric acid train pulls through Salt Lake City, Utah on Aug. 16, 2019. The train's journey began at the EPCO Agri Chemical fertilizer plant near Conda, Idaho and will end at Rio Tinto's copper smelting facility in Garfield, Utah.
This is the first of several lager pieces i've started.

A sunny March 18, 1978 finds a loaded sulfuric acid train bound for the TH&B heading through Bayview Jct behind CP SD40-2 #5740 and SD40 #5519. I'm not sure if the train went to Port Maitland or Niagara Falls, but for many years, unit trains of sulfuric acid from northern Ontario to various points in southern Ontario were common. Subsequently, NAFTA and expanded consumption in the US vastly expanded sulfuric acid traffic shipped out of northern Ontario but also meant the end of the unit trains. Photographer unknown, but I think it might be by Bill McArthur.
