I was working in difficult lighting the other day, with the setting Sun blasting through the dense forest canopy. Every now and then, a beam of light would intercept a leaf at just the right angle. Focusing was challenging as most of the frame was way too dark. But I got this shot for my efforts. It feels dramatic and abstracted, with hints of sharp shapes and excellent detail on the green leaf with a bit of the blue sky leaking through. An eerie green glow consumes the bottom fifth and a few bokeh balls manifested as well. It makes a good computer desktop. LOL

The sunrise didn't amount to much today, so I had a play in the rock-pools.
